As natural pack leader, dogs can sense that I am here for them. I will show you how to be a strong leader through the calmness and connection of energy we all reside in as living beings. This will allow your dog to relax and be a happy, stable family member. I customize your dogs' commands and training because every dog is different. I use positive praise or rewards and show you how to make lear
ning fun for them and rewarding for you. The first thing people notice and comment on about their dog(s) is that they seem calmer after staying at Gina's Place. We all need rest after activity, even animals, and I mediate (quiet time) with dogs while playing calming music like Deuter. Gina's Place is situated on 5+ acres of fenced property of which 3/4 ac is specific for dog run. In addition, there is also a fenced 2000 sqft area for dogs to play. Dogs learn about nature and wildlife here and how to respect the little critters like squirrels and lizards. Along with mediation, there is always calming music playing in the back ground so your dog will have a calming, stress free environment while he is on his retreat!
What a treat this morning while eating breakfast! Looking out my window and seeing five bucks! I’m pretty sure these babies were born under my trees here because when I go outside, they don’t run and they all seem to know me but when somebody else comes out they start to take off.

Two dogs that usually stay to themselves and don’t play with other dogs when they’re here, but they met this past week and are now actually playing and sleeping together! 💕
One of Baileys favorite things to do at Gina’s Place…
It’s baby deer season! Mama is checking out Boots and Brie. This is Boots’ first visit close up with one of the deer, and since he’s a graduate of Gina’s training camp, I allowed him to bark at her a few times before calling him off so that she knows that Boots can’t get to her, and vice versa.
4 of the 7 have had their babies in the last week. They’ll be bringing them to meet me soon. Mama wants to make sure that her little baby will be safe. Yes, for sure from me and my pack, but not so safe from the humans driving on the new roads that used to belong to them.
Training works!
Choose calm over chaos….Especially when you have more than one dog, or two, or three, or four🙂!
Today we’re just chillin on the back porch. Keshlan, Lotus, Bailey, Jaxon, and Pinot the white Siberian Husky, is laying at my feet 😎

Having fun with last weeks guests. Two other big kids are inside the house taking a break, but Keshlan loves playing with the little ones so he’s never too tired for some more fun!

This is Hazel. Here over the weekend with her housemate Lexi.
Had a little get together on Sunday with some of the big kids. After just five minutes of playing time, it’s H2O and relaxation time! Then back inside, where it’s cool 🙂 and Pinot the white Siberian husky, came into the shot a bit late but she’s there too!

 I loved him so much
 I didn’t want to let him go
 but he was ready and he wanted me to know
 so I held him close to my heart and as he closed his eyes he was purring so loudly…
You were the best part of my life for 18 years
and I will always love you scruffy❤️

Cubby, I only knew you for a short time but your fun loving poodle nature will live long in my mind. You were a special boy that loved sharing your happiness. Thank you for the moments of love and life you brought to Gina’s Place.

Bailey is here for 2 weeks. He follows Keshlan everywhere and when Keshlan lays down, Bailey lays on top of him.
This is Fiona’s first vacation at Gina’s Place, and here comes Brie who is here for two weeks.

This is 11 month old Hazel here for the weekend and meeting Keshlan for the first time. Check out the calming signals that she is using with him. I will be posting a PDF of ‘On talking terms with Dogs’ which lists all the calming signals dogs use with other so that you can recognize them and you can use with your dog as well.
