Kaihu 🥰

It's anbout time to post a picture of Kaihu. The poor boy sometimes has a hard time with his HD. The age and the weather do the rest. Nevertheless, he is a brave one and hardly shows any signs of it. It is mostly noticeable when he prefers not to come upstairs in the evening to avoid the stairs.

A long hike was rewarded with a beautiful view. Tomorrow is National Day here in Switzerland. Usually there are always lots of fireworks and noise. Fortunately, due to the long heat, this has been restricted or partly banned - the dogs will be happy.

Routine is finally getting back to us and our magical little daughter still keeps us on our toes - but it's much easier as a well-rehearsed team .-)
It is clearly too hot for the dogs and shade and coolness are sought everywhere. So we usually go for a long run together late in the evening. Wish you all a wonderful Sunday ... big cuddles Hadez

Natürlich nehmen wir nicht so einen grossen Sack «Orijen Tundra» Futter mit auf unsere Touren, doch eine Handvoll ist immer als Snack oder Goodie für Zwischendurch dabei.

Caught a little bit of sun today... Meanwhile it's grey and rainy again. But the dogs don't care about the weather anyway and they enjoy every free minute we spend together in nature. We wish you a wonderful Sunday and a wonderful start into the new week

Das Wetter spielt im Moment wirklich verrückt, vor ein paar Tagen noch Sonne wie auf dem Foto, dann Schnee und wieder Regen. Eine Zeit die viel Kraft und Energie kostet. Wie Ihr wisst sind wir ja mit eine Kooperation eingegangen, nicht um Futter zu bekommen, sondern weil wir es Mögen und schon Jahre zuvor mit Erfolg verfüttert haben. Auch jetzt ist unser Fazit nach ein paar Monaten extrem positiv, die Jungs vertragen es ausgezeichnet und nach Barf hat Orijen wohl am meisten Fleischanteil, welcher auch bei dem miesen Wetter genug Energie liefert. In diesem Sinne wünsche ich euch allen einen wunderschönen und hoffentlich bald wieder sonnigen Tag

Kaihu 🥰

Dear all, did I mention that our grinch Kaihu had birthday recently?
He turned 9 years old - happy birthday, big boy.
Even though he suffers from HD, he radiates pure joy of life and it is a gift to be able to experience him beaming and happy every day.

Finally the snow has made it to us down into the valley - a few flakes have finally remained 😊
Nevertheless, we much prefer to go up a little, where the gang can romp in the deep snow.
Unfortunately, the sun is still a long time coming, therefore today a photo from yesterday with the gray background that is typical at the moment ...

He just loves yogurt ... no matter where
the little man is lying around the house… opening of a yoghurt cup is always heard and of course he immediately speed into the kitchen - it could be that there is something to lick out ... and no matter how big the cup is - it looks freshly rinsed afterwards 😂 I wish you all a wonderful Sunday and sending many cuddles from the boys

During one of our winter walks the last few days we came through a fairytale forest.
We saw this beautiful sun-drenched root in a clearing - a reason to stop and take photos :-)

Even if the meadows in front of our house are green and muddy again, we can call ourselfs so lucky that we can simply go
left or right up the mountain for 5 minutes to find wonderful snowy landscapes :-)
The boys find it simply great to take a tour through the mountains with us every day and enjoy being the first to trudge through the snow.

Der Winter hat bereits Einzug gehalten, genau in dieser kalten Jahreszeit scheint es mir nochmals besonders wichtig zu sein, sich über sein Futter Gedanken zu machen. Mir ist es auf alle Fälle ein Anliegen den Jungs genügend Nährstoffe und Proteine anzubieten.
Und ja… wir haben uns für als Futter entschieden, nicht weil wir eine Kooperation zusammen haben, sondern weil wir das Futter schon seit langem nutzen, sind wir eine Kooperation eingegangen.
Barf war uns immer sehr willkommen, leider hat sich alles durch die Pandemie verändert, darum auch der Wechsel zurück zu Trockenfutter. Und mit Orijen ist ein wirklich hoher Fleischgehalt garantiert… und es schmeckt.
Was will man(n) mehr 😊

what a wonderful weekend ... finally we had enough time to enjoy the wonderful snowy woods with the dogs. It's just great to make the first tracks in the deep snow ... to see the dogs romp and to drink a hot cacao at home. Next weekend you can come back soon 😉

Once again I haven't been so active on IG for a while, but always been out with the dogs on new adventures. Right now it's just hard to get it all under one roof ... so many things that need to be done.
