Ahoy hoy Dutchman lovers! As demand for special events and catering has decreased and my family is growing, I've decided to close The Frying Dutchman business. It's been a total blast and I've loved every minute of it - from that time that we took back our lemon tree from Shelbyville and when I wore an onion on my belt (which was the style at the time) - oh, wait that's all from the Simpson's...anyway, there really has been a lot of good memories and I've met a lot of good people along the way. I want to thank everyone for all of the support you've given me. There really is still a demand for a vegan food business here (as attested to by the almost daily calls I get from people still asking if I'm open) and I would challenge anyone who is thinking about starting up a vegan food business to throw your ring around the chimney and get to it. Although this post is painful to write, it's not as bad as getting a football to the groin. Be kind to each other, be kind to the animals and I'll smell ya later.
