That’s yet another year done. I really really appreciate the gifts that I have received. Makes me feel appreciated, which is a lovely feeling at the end of a long year. 🥰 I will post a little pic. And I don’t suppose anybody could share a pic of their dogs with the bandana on. If it fits! 🤞🏻 I’m sure I’ll put up some kind of Xmas post. Wow, that was my first three day week. 2 days looking after our baby. Quite intense compacting everything into three days and tiring. I don’t know how other dog walkers do 4 or more walks a day everyday. Hopefully I did these guys proud. Next week I’ll deliver a little gift for everybody. I guess it’s pretty much the last week before Xmas!

If you have a Springer, best thing you can do is to get them in the water. Exercise that is fun and kind on the joints. Not sea water though, as that comes out the other end!! Trust me!

And that’s another week done! Although it wasn’t quite a full week, it’s my last full time week. Next week I become part time dog walker, part time dad 👶🏼, well its full time really isn’t, but you know what I mean. My new working days will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday and Friday I’m available for childcare. That’s a joke! Unless you want to spend some time with me and Hattie!

Originally from Torbay, Devon. I’m always drawn to water. We don’t have much of it here, although I do try and make the absolute most of the river Wylye. So whenever we have a lot of rain, I do like to try and make the absolute most of the opportunity. There are certain spots that over winter begin to have huge puddles shall we say. I like to go to those too. Water isn’t for every dog, I know that. But it’s so beneficial to the dogs and provides amazing enrichment.

We have taken to scatter feeding lately. It encourages natural behaviours, provides mental stimulation, is calming and keeps us all out of trouble! 🤣

On Thursday we set Molly free for the first time. And she had an absolute ball. It was wonderful to see. She was just bounding around non stop for 45 minutes which was the limit for her age. Tommy did a great job entertaining her.

Our Story

We're animal people, and that means animals will always come first. I love and adore my dog and he’s completely changed my life. I love every single second that I spend with him; he never ceases to make me smile.

Before Eddies Helpful Paws, we were known as RW Pet Services, otherwise known as Rocky & Winston’s Pet Services, with Rocky & Winston both being rabbits that I have had but have unfortunately passed on. I've got so many memories that I will keep forever from my time running RW Pet Services. I love animals, and being paid to spend time with them was a dream come true.

So I sing the praises of how pets are beneficial to our mental health. If I could always have my dog by my side I would. He makes me happy, he makes me feel more comfortable in public. He gives me motivation to get up and out, which I otherwise would not have. He takes me to places I would never have explored; places that now hold a special place in my heart. My animals are my pride and joy, they continue everyday to give, to make me enjoy life.

Hopefully together we can continue improving the lives of many animals. Thanks for reading. Have a pawfect day!
