Wyndan Goldendoodles is a heart and soul endeavor that started 25 years ago. I showed AKC show conformation, had 15 AKC show Champions, and the number 3 Sporting Group dog in the country. Upon leaving the show life, I still had breeding quality dogs in my veins! After much research I decided on the Goldendoodle, Sheepadoodle, and Bernedoodle for the many wonderful family oriented qualities of the combined breeds. I breed first and second generation (F1, F1b) and multigen for the non shedding and hypoallergenic qualities.
I accept a $300 deposit to hold your spot and gender preference. My pups come with all age appropriate vaccines and dewormings, health record, a one year health guarantee, and lifetime breeder support. We also use the guardian program for those pick puppies that we will use later in our breeding program.
After we have confirmed availability, you then have the option to place a NONREFUNDABLE BUT TRANSFERABLE deposit to reserve your puppy until 7 weeks of age (when your puppy can come home!) We accept Paypal and Venmo for the deposit only. The remaining balance of your puppy will be due in cash, paypal, or Venmo only. We do not accept checks. You will be placed on our deposit list and will pick your puppy in order of deposits received. We try to be as fair as possible, but we have to abide by our policy. If we receive a deposit just seconds before yours, unfortunately, that family will choose before you. When you place your deposit, you MUST tell us what gender you would like to reserve. This allows other families clarity on what gender is available by their pick. If by the time it is your turn to pick and you have changed your gender, you will be put at the end of the list for that gender. If there are no puppies remaining of that gender, your deposit will then be transferable to another litter in the future. There is a ONE TIME transfer only.
If you have placed a deposit on a litter, and are waiting to pick your puppy, know that we will take individual pictures of the puppies at 6 weeks of age. We will then begin to introduce these pictures to families in order of deposits received. If you are out of state and are unable to travel to meet the puppies in person (given world health conditions allow), we will gladly assist you in your puppy choice. If you are able to meet them in person, GREAT! We will schedule a time for you and your family to come see the puppies at 6 weeks. After you have chosen your puppy, puppies will be ready to take home at 7 weeks!
We know this is an exciting time for you and your family, but we are unable to send updated pictures and videos upon request. We are incredibly busy and are truly focused on taking care of the puppies and their momma's during their stay with us! We will be sure to post updated pictures weekly!
What does it mean to transfer my deposit?
We give everyone the option to transfer their deposit ONE TIME. When you decide to transfer your deposit another $100 will be required at that time to ensure you are still serious about purchasing your puppy. Your previous deposit and this current deposit will then go towards the total purchase. There is not a time limit on how quickly you are to transfer, and rest assured, your deposit will never expire. We do ask that you are aware that depending on the breed, color, coat type, size, generation, etc, puppies are not promised to have the same price as your intended first purchase.
What is A Guardian Home?
Our Guardian Program allows for families to have a “pick of the litter puppy” for just a fraction of the price. The Guardian Home puppy is part of the Guardian Home’s Family forever, while the breeding rights are solely retained by Wyndan Goldendoodles for a set amount of time (each situation is slightly different so we prefer to work out specific details with each family on an individual basis.) Once the Guardian Dog has completed his/her breeding career, he/she will be spayed or neutered at our expense, and the dog will remain a forever pet of their Guardian Family!
Is There a Cost Involved to Be a Guardian Home?
Yes. We do not give our Guardian dogs or pups away. Each pup's cost is the cost of our normal companion pups, but guardian families get a set fee back for each litter produced, reducing the overall initial cost of the pup.
Our Guardian home families are responsible for the general routine veterinary care and wellness of the Guardian puppy placed with them. This means annual vaccines, feeding a high quality dog food, grooming, monthly heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, training, regular exercise and socialization, and most importantly all the love and care and attention possible!
Any “breeding related” medical costs for the Guardian Dog are the expense of Wyndan Goldendoodles. Our Guardian homes are only responsible for routine maintenance and medical care just as they would if they had their own dog.
What Are the benefits of being a Guardian Home?
A Guardian family gets the very best that Wyndan Goldendoodles has to offer! This means that we choose our breeding stock based on the best qualities that are outlined in our breed standard, with temperament and health of course coming first. Our Guardian families get to enjoy the excitement of being a part of our breeding program, and seeing the offspring of their very own Guardian dog be placed with families across the country bringing others the same joy and happiness that they have received from their guardian dog!
What Are The requirements to become a Guardian home?
To be considered as a Guardian home for one of our breeding dogs, we require that you live within driving distance of our home. It is necessary that you have physical fencing to provide a safe and secure environment for the Guardian dog/puppy, and have a schedule that will allow for your dog to not be left alone for long, extended periods of time. All dogs and pups placed in Guardian families must be indoor dogs, and never be left outside unattended. Guardian Families must have reliable transportation, and a willingness to bring the Guardian dog/pup to us when needed throughout the year.
So How Does it Work?
Most all of our dogs/pups available for our Guardian Program will be females. Occasionally we will have a male available as well!
If you are applying for a young adult, or mature Guardian dog, she/he will already come to you completely health tested, and may have just a couple more breedings for us (depending on her age and the number of litters she has had) prior to her being spayed and released solely to you as a forever pet. When the Guardian dog is in season, the Guardian family is required to contact us immediately. An intact female usually has a heat cycle that will last between 14 and 21 days. During this time, we will need access to her for breeding related appointments. Once she has been bred, she will remain with her Guardian family until one week before her due date. At that time, the Guardian dog will come back to stay with us for the remainder of her pregnancy, and will be returned once her pups are fully weaned, approximately 5-6 weeks later.
If you are receiving a Guardian home puppy, we ask for monthly photos and updates during the first year so that we can watch her develop, and update our page.
Our male guardian pups must be kept intact and in excellent health throughout their life span. We will not use a male pup before screenings have been completed, but once those are complete and he is of age, the male pup may be used throughout the year. He would be brought to us for the 4-5 days it takes to breed the female, and then returned to his guardian family.
How Many Litters Will A Guardian Female Produce?
Each dog is individually assessed before determining their required litters. Most of our Guardian dogs will have 2 litters for us. Occasionally we may decide to have fewer litters if we have accomplished our goals in development of our Guardian dog in a shorter period of time. Again, this is determined by Wyndan Doodles.
