First time these dogs have seen a horse up close. The lack of reaction shows confidence in the situation. Our pack hunt multiple small farms, and learning tolerance and adaptability are important. 👍
We love our Deguello Dogo family. Today seemed like the perfect day to let you all know how much we appreciate you. We feel blessed and grateful for our Dogos to be living with such exceptional owners. Our journey wouldn’t be the same without you.💞🐾👏 #deguellodogos #valentinesday #dogo #love

Buzzsaw found a boar in a field of dead Johnson grass under a Pecan tree. Hog came out in front of us, crossed a fence, then was shut down quickly by Buzz and kids. This was all after a couple hours of solid hunting. All 4 Dogos (Buzz, Bolt, Bitter, Bruin) born on this yard.
Since day 1, we chose to focus on Athleticism and SPEED as an emphasis for our program. The video shows why.
Brietzkes Buzzsaw del Deguello, finding and catching his own.
Banshee with a good sow last night.
Footage from our hunt. You hear Bull find the hog then she takes off. He's right on her ass then Buzz & Brienne get there. Proud of these dogs.
Never stop working your dogs.
Knocked out the day at work, and ran home to grab my hounds. Yeah, I knew it might rain, but there's always a chance of sneaking up on a hog before a shower and a little rain never hurt anyone. Loaded up, pulled up to the gate and I hear the radio announcement about a storm headed our way. Made it this far right? It's hot, humid and still where we are so I thought we'll iust make a quick run to stretch out. Can't disappoint the dogs like that right?! Unload, grab gear and head down to an open field we like to check out. It's hit or miss, but it's great work for the dogs. Do a wide loop, walk to the back fence line and check for sign. Clouds are building up, but no wind. We make our way back towards the gap, decided to stop and hang a bit. Then I hear it, a wall of wind rolling through the trees and it hits us. The temperature drops and I start to feel cold rain drops and see dark clouds building. Time to head back! The dogs... Well, they say otherwise. They start throwing their noses up. What a beautiful sight it is to see a group of dogos head up, working the scents. They start rolling out, and I'm left to make a decision. I'm out by myself, I remember the radio saying "hail", so it's time to start rounding up dogs. Loaded up, headed home and we're met with a down pour. Our time was cut short, there will be another time to harass the local hog population, but it's times like these that I believe I'll remember when I'm an old woman that can no longer run around the woods with my dogs. A couple young dogs we've raised, just me in the woods watching a storm roll in. Life is good. NEXT TIME!
