Lucy is a young cat looking for her forever home. She is about 10 months old, has already had a litter of kittens, but is now neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
Lucy was a devoted mother to her kittens, but caught cat flu while living wild and all her kittens died from the virus. She has been sad and confused after this tragic event, but is coming out of her shell.
She is a sweet, friendly, playful girl who wants to please and be loved.

Meet Funny Face, named after the Fred Astaire movie.
Funny Face is a healthy, spayed, vaccinated six month old tortoiseshell kitten.
She was captured at Rosehill College during a trap/neuter-and-release program, and we soon realised that she loved being stroked and cuddled and would enjoy being a pet cat.
If you want a smoochy cat who can’t get enough of being held in your arms, then Funny Face is for you!

A MASSIVE thank you to Sylvia and her dog for finding and safely helping these guineas at Craigavon Park (an off leash dog park).

We would like to offer our support if the person who dumped them has other guineas.

These two are now in the rescues care; a pregnant female and a male (who may potentially have dental issues by the way he's eating). We are happy to help any others if the owner who dumped them needs help.

Forest is suspected to be a Norwegian Forest Cat. He is 5.4 kg of pure muscle. He doesn't take any nonsense from other cats, and is a champion outdoor mouser. (In fact, we think he taught some of the other cats, too.) But for all that, he is very sweet with humans.

Neutered, chipped, vaccinated and ready for immediate adoption.

Half-Tail (in foreground) is eager to be adopted.

Half Tail is very gentle but slow to warm and trust. He is very friendly with other cats. If another cat is feeling upset or unwell Half Tail will sit next to them, lean his head against theirs and lick their face. He is a natural carer. He is a young neutered male and needs a home where he will feel totally safe.

We need help to enable us to carry on, I feel like I am failing on so many fronts.

I, Raylene, personally feel I have dropped the ball on fundraising and now we find ourselves with 24 cents left in our account. We have had a huge amount going on in our lives over the last 6 months that has taken a toll on my ability to fully focus on the rescue.
This is not an excuse but just the way it is.

This week alone, we have paid just over $1200 in vet costs, but we can not continue to do this. We know life is very hard out there, with the cost-of-living sky rocketing, as a family we are feeling too. I would normally just top things up but simply can not do that personally any longer.

We currently have 114 animals under the rescues care, either here or at foster homes. Sadly, we have had to say “no” more times over the last few months than you would believe, which is not something we like to do but our ability to help is limited by the support we get.
2 guineas we took in last week who we are pretty sure have ovarian issues going on, so they need to be spayed as soon as we can get them in next week. It seems every animal that comes in has something going on these days, I don’t know if it is the level of care they are getting is lacking or the back yard breeding but there is always something going on.

For us to continue to help we need your help now more than ever, every donation makes a difference. If everyone that follows our page even gave $2 we would be in such a different place.

Thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts, we want to keep doing what we do, but we can’t do it on our own.

Please don’t forget to join our G-Force team, if you can, to help us with ongoing support for our rescue’s through their recovery, rehabilitation, and rehoming journey. Any small monthly, fortnightly, or weekly donations to go towards their vet care and general care and is so very much appreciated.

Half-tail is available for adoption.

Half Tail is the totally black cat in the lower left of this photo.
Half Tail does indeed have half a tail. We do not know the story
behind this. His tail is completely healed and causes him no
trouble.

Half Tail is very gentle but slow to warm and trust. He is very
friendly with other cats. If another cat is feeling upset or unwell
Half Tail will sit next to them, lean his head against theirs and lick
their face. He is a natural carer. He is a young neutered male and

Nancy is a special needs cat and needs a very special home.

Meet Nancy. Nancy is a beautiful, timid, adult cat who has been a wonderful, loving mother to many litters before she was trapped by our Rescue.

We planned to neuter and release her but discovered that she is FIV positive. FIV is the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, the cat equivalent to HIV in humans. Cats with FIV often have very weak immune systems and can suffer much more than other cats from mouth and teeth problems, growths and infections. Nancy currently has a very sore mouth but seems well otherwise.

Nancy’s adopter will need to keep her indoors. She must be the only cat in the house. A medical procedure to cure her sore mouth is a top priority - this will probably involve a vet visit, teeth removal and antibiotics.

Do you have a big heart, the ability to pay vet bills, and a safe house for Nancy to make her
own? She has had a difficult and painful life so far but could potentially be a well and happy cat
with good care.

Nancy has been spayed but not vaccinated. Her chronic mouth infection makes her too
vulnerable to vaccinate. If she lives away from other cats in your safe home she will not need
vaccination.

Please contact us if you can give Nancy a life with you.
