Founded in 1873, SPCA Cincinnati has a long history of service to the Greater Cincinnati community. This location is SPCA’s only operating shelter facility.

SPCA Cincinnati is a humane society dedictaed to strengthen the human-animal bond, reducing pet overpopulation through SPCA’s spay & neutering program, and rescuing as many animals from homelessness and illnesses.❤️ Originally founded as the Ohio Humane Society, it was the first organization of its kind in Ohio. elty to Animals, which was headquartered in downtown Cincinnati. The headquarters moved to Colerain Avenue in Northside in the 1930s. Thanks to the generosity of the community, SPCA Cincinnati built the Sharonville Humane Center in 2008, and received Simmonds Farm as a donation in 2009. The current headquarters for the SPCA Cincinnati is 11900 Conrey Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45249. Today, SPCA Cincinnati remains the very epitome of true service to the people and animals in our community. SPCA Cincinnati takes in over 7,305 dogs and 6,001 cats annually. In addition to providing shelter and rehabilitation to these animals in need, SPCA Cincinnati collaborates with government, law enforcement, and social service organizations in its ongoing effort to encourage humane principles and foster the human-animal bond.

Thank You to Evan's Auto Care for a great 5-year anniversary of and helping our humane society save more animals’ lives through community partnership!

While we are still tallying the final numbers for our 5th Annual with our friends at SPCA Cincinnati, we've had so much fun that we've decided to officially expand the furry madness. 🐾

If you're familiar with our beautiful Plainfield & Hunt Roundabout, you know we need to expand with a collision shop. After reading that Great Parks has seen a revival of otters and other river critters, we've decided to purchase the lot across the street to become a training ground for all the otters who are now looking for work.

Rescued from the tornadoes that hit Florida last Fall through SPCA's #Shelter2Shelter program, Dizzy came to us with many health concerns. He was battling ear infections, Giardia, and dental disease, which was triggering an autoimmune response... all while being very frail. Dr. Smith and her team went to work immediately to alleviate his pain and heal his severe condition. We are so thankful to Dizzy's Foster, who allowed him to recover in a home environment and eventually adopted him! Watch here to learn more about Dizzy's story.
