Pumpkin Pie for Dogs! 🎃🥧🐕
All you need is:
🌾 Boiled buckwheat (it’s gluten-free)
🎃 Organic pumpkin purée (single-ingredient, not pumpkin pie filling)
🍠 Or you can use boiled butternut squash or sweet potato instead of pumpkin
This treat can either be frozen or cooked at 350* in the oven using silicone cupcake molds. Reminder: This is a treat and not meant to supplement meals. See my previous post for Thanksgiving food your dog can and can’t eat. With this recipe, your dogs can enjoy some Thanksgiving pie too! 🦃🍁🍽

Quick and easy Halloween dog treats! 🎃
I used single ingredient organic baby food, but you can, of course, use and cook whole butternut squash, carrots, pumpkin, and sweet potato for this as well. All you have to do is find a cute silicone mold, place the food in the mold, freeze, and serve! My dogs love it.
Benefits:
✔️ It’s a healthy, fun treat that's easy to make
✔️Provides fiber
✔️Orange vegetables contain beta-carotene, a precursor to Vitamin A, and an antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage.
I picked up the silicone mold and baby food from Target, but Walmart and other stores like this usually carry these items.
Have a safe and happy Halloween! 👻

🐕 My dogs eat between 1-3 meals a day, depending on activity level and individual dogs' needs. Activity levels, macronutrients, and calories vary per dog. Macronutrients and calories for one day worth of food for an active 55-pound dog:
Calories: 1565
Protein: 51%
Fat: 39%
Carbohydrates: 10%
🤓 During exercise, a dog's muscles are primarily using carbohydrates (glucose) to supply energy rapidly. Cooked quinoa, butternut squash, buckwheat (gluten-free), and sweet potato are used to meet the 10% carbohydrates.

I’m not fully unpacked yet since moving to a new state, but I’m very excited to film more @pet.nutrition videos in this kitchen! 😃
This is a boneless meal-prep that requires more meat and a calcium supplement. I’ll be picking up duck and turkey bones at my local farmer's market next week, which I’m also very excited about! I love finding new raw suppliers, especially from local farms. 🙂
This meal prep is for 12 days for an active 57-pound adult dog. The meals shown in the last clip are for my four dogs ranging from 55-65 pounds. My dog's meals are split between 1-3 times a day depending on their activity level.

One hundred pounds of duck feet, duck necks, and turkey necks for my four large dogs. 😃
I just moved to a new state this month and was unfamiliar with how to source raw meaty bones (RMB’s) here. I looked online and quickly found a farmer in the state (and several others) with all kinds of duck and turkey parts. This order will last months for my four large dogs and was $2.50/pound. Typically prices for online raw retailers are double this price for bones, plus shipping, so search locally if you can.
The benefits of raw meaty bones are:
✅ Helps clean teeth for kibble and raw-fed dogs.
✅ Provides calcium, phosphorus, and other micronutrients in a raw diet.
✅ It helps firm stool but shouldn’t be used to fix digestive issues permanently. That’s what a probiotic is for in situations such as diarrhea.
🦴 My “Guide” on my Instagram tab has more information on how to feed RMB’s for dogs and cats.
