Morning meal for my 63-pound active dog:
🐄 Ground beef
🐖 Pork loin
🦃 Turkey hearts (freeze-dried)
🦆 Duck feet
🌾 Quinoa (boiled)
🟠 Butternut squash (boiled)
🫐 Blueberries (mashed)
🦠 Probiotics
🌿 Kelp
💊 Vitamin E, taurine, manganese

Fed later: beef liver, quinoa, pork loin

Duck feet and turkey hearts are from a local farmer. I freeze-dried the turkey hearts myself for dog treats, but since I’m trying to downsize my supply, I incorporated that into the meal. Supplements are from . All other ingredients are from my local grocery store. 😃

📊 NRC balanced meal for a 58 pound active dog
• 1990 calories for today
• 1172 grams (2.58 pounds)

🥩 Beef chuck
🦃 Turkey meat
🫀Turkey hearts
🦴 Turkey neck
🐇 Rabbit feet
🌱 Veggie & fruit cubes
🐟 Fish oil from
💧Vitamin E & D
💊 Manganese

Fed later:
🪺 Quail Eggs
🍠 Cooked sweet potato & quinoa
🐄 Beef liver

🤓 Cooked quinoa and sweet potato are beneficial for energy, fiber, macronutrients, and some micronutrients.

There is not enough research on the bioavailability on rabbit fur being a good source of micronutrients, so I do not count this.
