Eventing at the Pony Club Regional Championships yesterday. We had Isabelle M and Alice B representing the branch and they did us proud. Isabelle finished 14th with a super dressage and double clear. Alice came 7th with a 28.3 dressage and clear xc. Well done girls and mums for surviving the staying away overnight experience!

Day three and the final day of Junior and Senior Camp at Munstead. What an action packed morning. Nearly all rode the Grassroots Championship dressage test with full judging. For many it was their first ever dressage test! Beautiful turnout and many trying their hand at commanding a test - they will have more respect for the parents who normally get the job!! Fun course jumping and timed Handy Pony. E and D tests passed. Rosettes and tired children a plenty. Thank you to our wonderful DC Annette, the fab committee and are super instructors, Karen, Holly, Lauren, Annie and assistants Annabel and Saskia. Thank you Rupert & Becca Harvey for letting us use your wonderful facilities. And sleep 💤

Day 2 of Junior and Senior camp at Munstead. Lots of amazing jumping rounds, practising starting xc, stable management, cross country riding and handy pony challenges. The senior girls slept well in their 🏕️ and ate a massive breakfast setting them up for a full day today. More photos to follow….

Congratulations to all our members who represented the branch yesterday at the Area 13 Dressage qualifiers. It was a fantastic event at Munstead. Big thank you to the Chiddingfold and Lord Leconfield branches who ran the competition.

In the 70 class Alice C and Rosie M both qualified for the Regional Championships as part of a mixed Area team.

In the 80 we had seven taking part and you all did us proud. The team of Beau R, Alice B, Isabelle M and Elodie W came 2nd and qualify for the Regional Champs. Individually Elodie came 2nd, Isabelle 3rd and Alice 4th.

Annabel H won her Novice section and qualifies for the JCB Pony Club National Championships. She was also in a mixed Area team who came 5th.

Well done to everyone, parents included, and especially for your smartly turned out ponies and riders.

Big shout out to Isla and Cheerio who have been selected for Team GB at the European Youth Championships in Sweden for Driving. Isla and Cheerio enjoy many of our Pony Club rallies and camp alongside their driving. Chidd Farmers are super proud of you both. Enjoy your time in Sweden 👏👏👏

Half-term Sunday and finally the sun shone! Massive congratulations to Alice B and Isabelle M who competed at the Petersfield Pony Club Area 13 80 horse trials. Both qualified for the Regional Championships with Alice coming 2nd and Isabelle 8th. 👏👏👏

Friday and a great rally at Munstead using the grass dressage arenas to practice dressage tests with instructor Hinda Inglis. Well done everyone including the parents who nearly froze on the day before June!!
