Charlie was our first rescue 10 years ago. He lived in a storm drain for a month before hubby brought him home to live with us. His back leg was lame from an earlier accident, probably hit by a car. His story prompted us to dedicate our lives to rescuing unwanted pets. He's helped care for a dozen orphaned dogs and cats since then. Charlie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in 2014. Late night rescue (7pm is late for me….)! This sweet but emaciated baby is going to the vet tomorrow. She’s covered in fleas, starving and looks pretty rough, but she’s safe for the night and is happy having all the food she wants. Our funds are very low after our recent ER visit so any donations towards her vet visit and care are very much appreciated! We’ve named her Chicken Biscuit and we love her so much.

Un pequeño poema tomado de libro de poesía escrito en Camberlay, Reino Unido.
Esta foto es de “Camberley Kate”, la dama que deambulaba por las calles con su carrito de “perros callejeros” y recogía a todos los abandonados. Se dice que durante su vida rescató y dio un hogar amoroso a más de 600 perros callejeros.

Hoy rindo homenaje a esta dama inspiradora y a su legado, ella dedicó su vida a salvar perros, y a ser amable todos los animales.
