BarnHunt competition practice (Hunting for the rat in the tube 🐀) with Moana the St Dane and her handler (me) A personal best of 56 seconds!
The Saint Dane is half Saint Bernard and half Great Dane. Our puppies are family raised in our home and will be well socialized. We do not ship our puppies.
(18)
They will come with all of their age appropriate/recommended vaccinations, veterinary certificate of health as well as their required worming's. We initiate outdoor potty training beginning at 6 weeks old so that our puppies typically have a great start on this by the time they head home. We also allow our families to start making visits to our home to visit with their chosen pups starting at arou
nd 4-5 weeks old. I will also do a home visit with your pup to your home between 7-8 weeks old as needed. They will be ready to go to their new homes between 8-10 weeks of age. We’ve kept in touch with our previous owners since 2016 and look forward to adding more to our St Dane family and spreading the St Dane love.

Happy 5th Birthday to Moana & Scouts 1st litter! 🥳🐶❤️ Daphne, Thor, Charlotte, Stella, Maui, Diesel, Arya & Finn
Happy Mother’s Day Mom’s!! 🌸
These cutie pies also had a birthday yesterday! Can’t believe it’s been 3 years already!
Titan shares his birthday with he and Cali’s first litter! Here’s a few of the birthday kids! 🥳 Happy 8th birthday to Finnegan, Gertie, Tonks & Buddy!
Happy 9th Birthday Titan! 🥳 This is an emotional one for us. 9 years for a giant breed dog is a wonderful milestone for sure. Our “Big Black Puppy” has definitely slowed down over the past year. Even with his sugar covered coat he remains the most handsome specimen of St Dane EVER! He’s got some issues like most canines his age but is still full of rascally 8 week old puppy mentality that he’s well known for in our family. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the big stud who started it all! We vow to love you, spoil you and appreciate every day we have with you Titey boyfriend 😘
Moey and I learning “Barnyard” at Central K9 in Colchester! It’s only our 2nd class but she’s picking it up pretty quickly! The video is a little montage of today’s class. Hide the rat sitting in the tube, she sniffs it out, once she hits the tube with her paw she gets the verbal accolades and affection since that’s her favorite thing in the world haha - she had no interest in the homemade beef jerky! That’s our Moe Moe ❤️
Happy 5th Birthday to our sweet Hazel nugget! 🎂🥳
They love sunbathing ☀️
Pretty lighting for a pretty lady 🥰 Moe Mama
Pawprints Pick up! 🐾
Yesterday my pack and I picked up 5 bags of roadside garbage during our walks!
Maybe if we all do this we can do our small part to keep our environment cleaner! 🗑️ 🐾
Happy Easter! 🐣
Bern’s son Cash & Hazel’s daughter Maziy sporting their adorable bunny ears! Have a great day! 🐰
Happy St Patrick’s Day! ☘️
Moey’s sweet girls Quinn & Miss Moo 💕
This is Bernice’s first litter of pups 🐶 She had 13 puppies, born on March 13th and delivered them over 13 hours ❤️ Happy 4th birthday to Rocco, Bella, Galaxy, Maribel, Dolly, Kya, Maverick, Layla, Chet, Groot, Riley and Atmosphere 🥳 Happy heavenly birthday to sweet Beckett who will live in our hearts forever 💕
Cali, our pack’s matriarch, looking stunning! Hard to believe she’ll be 11 years old in July! Our very first Mama 🥰 I gave her a nice outdoor bath and then a good old fashioned blow out!
This has been a sad week for Baker’s St Danes.
Brock & Scout crossed the rainbow bridge a couple days apart. 💔 🌈
Brothers from our very first litter born 5/11/2016.
Sons to Cali & Titan
Brock was his Uncle Timber’s twin in every way. He was his mom Claribel’s very best friend but also a friend to all. During his younger years he lent his big warm body for those at her workplace to hug and love on to bring a calming presence to those who needed it.
Scout was Papa to Moana’s first 2 litters. He was his mom Shana’s first fur baby to call her own. She was 16 years old when she got him and put her own earnings towards bringing him home and caring for him. When she brought her son Michael Jr. into this world 2 years ago Scout was right there by his side from day one. He was the best big brother his tiny human could ask for.
Please join me in sending lots of healing thoughts and prayers to the humans they had to leave behind for now.
We all know these boys will be waiting at the rainbow bridge one day 🌈💔🐶
Tongue out Tuesday 😋
Big kids now! Happy 1st birthday girls & boys! 🎂🥳
Happy 1st Birthday to this crew! Hope to get some birthday pics from their moms and dads soon! Angel, Lucy, MayBell, Bubba, Tucker, Kevin, Enzo, Po and Luca!
Happy New Year to everyone! 🎆
True love ❤️ True respect
Cali our eldest rests her chin upon the paw of Ivy our youngest…
Cali was the beginning of Baker’s St Danes & Ivy will be the end of Baker’s St Danes. 🐶
Prayers for a few fruitful years ahead for our Sweet Sweet Ivy Girl before we close this era in our lives!

Baker’s St Danes Finn, Max & Enzo This comical trio all trying to give paw first! Paw paw paw 🐾 🐾🐾
Our senior male Titan asks for a much wider boundary with his personal space! The pups completely understand his request! Watch through til the end…you’ll see him take a little peek to make sure their back far enough before he finally lays down. 🐾
Our senior dog Cali teaching pups personal space boundaries 🐾 Notice how she never backs away and holds her space and continues to move toward them asserting her dominance. The little growl is to make her point clearer to those who need it but she basically gets what she wants with her energy and body language! Humans who need help with this with your own canine should watch and learn because she’s a great teacher! 🐾
17 minutes of short clips of Timber with some of our litters 🐾 Posting this and his photo album for myself ♥️
Our healing journey begins 🐾 Cali is now our eldest pack member and is a bit lost without her oldest friend but love will pull us all through ♥️
What led up to this moment…I’ve kept it as brief as possible… Our morning typically starts at 4 am. All of the dogs go out but I can’t have Timber and Mozart outside together because Mozart objects to Timbers bossy attitude and Timber objects to Mozarts objection 🙄. Once Mozart is done I’ll bring him in and out goes Timber. Usually once Timber is done doing his business he’ll be agreeable to get up and head back into the house to eat, take his pills and go back to sleep. Well all of this has changed now that the cool mornings are here. Timber refuses to get up and go back into the house bc he loves the cool weather. So I started to feed him outside, give him his pills outside and bring him a drink outside. Well by the time I’ve done this, fed and watered everyone else and handed out the morning meds it’s pushing 6 am. 2 hours has passed and King Timber still refuses to get up and go back into the house so that poor Mozart can come back outside to poop! You may ask yourself why not force Timber to go in. To be clear, one cannot FORCE Timber do anything he doesn’t agree to do. He is 180 lbs and requires a boost to get into a standing position. Once he’s up he’s pretty mobile! But unless he sits up and helps in the process there is no boosting him ANYWHERE! Cut to the video…Timber will do ANYTHING for a chicken nugget so I’ve decided to keep them on hand now! PS all of the throw rugs are for Timber- senior dog parents will understand ❤️
Good morning from Hazel! Hopefully this sweet face will start your day out right! It does ours everyday! ☀️ (P.S. Timber and his hunger pains survived through my morning coffee ☕️ )
1 minute in the life of Timber 🖤 The Big Man HIGHLY recommends Wizard of Paws! He actually joined in when some of the young ladies of our pack were kicking Titans butt instead of barking out orders on the sidelines!
Timber was accompanied by his faithful companion Hazel for a quick trip to Chey & Connor’s house this morning. Timber was able to return to The Wizard of Paws pet rehab in Colchester Thursday for electrical stimulation to his lower spine. This is like a deep tissue massage to awaken his muscles and I can already see a difference! He was practically running and skipping and tripping too a few times lol He LOVED rolling on their plush lawn and Hazel ran around like a nut sharing in his joy! He’s getting stronger and more self confident with every outing!
Timber & I went on a field trip yesterday! We went to an old favorite of his Bluff Point in Groton. First we stopped at Dairy Queen to get our ice cream (of course there is ALWAYS food involved with Mr T). We pulled into the park, opened the doors and contemplated our next move. Timber decided he needed a little energy boost to give him the strength to get up and out, so he decided to slurp up some ice cream to get the oomph to actually start his short but sweet journey. He finally decided he was ready to try getting up and out. He needed a little boost to get started, got down the ramp, met a friend, ate some grass then laid down for a bit. Gosh he looked like a King laying there in the grass so tall and proud. While he was chilling I decided to go back to the van to get the rest of his ice cream… I guess he thought I was abandoning him 🙄 so he got up to follow me promptly charging me to get at that ice cream! He slurped up the rest of his ice cream in the messiest way possible then we headed back to the van before his sugar rush wore off! He needed a little foot adjustment to get back up the ramp but got right up and settled down for our trip home. Of course we made ANOTHER food stop to get his absolute FAVORITE treat of chicken nuggets. He ate his nuggies and this completed his field trip. Timber was only able to walk about 100 feet and at times I worried we wouldn’t make it back to the van. However, once again, I underestimated his iron will and determination to continue on in this life that he loves. Can’t wait for our next trip out!
It takes a pack to help start our pups in their lives. 3:52 of Timber, Cali, Titan, Harley, Moana, Bernice, Hazel, Mozart and Ivy all pitching in. Each offers a different canine personality for the pups to learn from. I greatly appreciate their help! 🐶
Brothers Brody, Maverick & Dexter each try out a different technique to get the girl! Brody works the gentle nuzzle and paw to the cheek. Maverick initially attempts to beat her up then teams up with Brody using the gentle approach. Dexter simply feigns disinterest to draw her attention. Hmmmm who did it best? ❤️ #RomancingIvy
