I’m so sorry to share that our sweet Ariel has passed. She has been battling multiple health issues that were not resolving. Our vet felt she was likely battling an aggressive cancer. We made the tough decision to let her go.

Although we desperately wish every cat would have a long life with us, their little bodies have other ideas. We never want to prolong suffering. Fly pain free, sweet girl. Kiki and the rest of the sanctuary crew will so miss you. 🧡

Meet Cheeto Puff. He came from Paws of Love Animal Rescue in Ft Smith, AR. He’s about 7 months old and was taken to the vet when his caretaker noticed a vision problem.

We immediately had him seen by our ophthalmologist who discovered he had one micro/underdeveloped eye. His other eye had internally ruptured and the surface was calloused due to entropy. His eyelids were also underdeveloped so his lashes constantly irritated the eye. It was clear it needed to be removed immediately.

Fortunately, he’s young and taking his antibiotics and pain meds like a champ. He’s definitely not a fan of his cone though!

He’s a beautiful, snuggly boy who just likes being held. He is definitely adoptable and will be available once he heals.

Tried these new treats. Kinda of a weird concept and I don’t trust that the cats won’t eat the stick without supervision but Pixel is a big fan!
