Cacao German Shepherds AKC working lines of excellent quality. We produce a small number of superb puppies raised in the home with loving care. OFA certified/DNA tested.

Our dogs all live full lives as part of our family- they do not live in kennels! Located in Joshua, TX German Shepherds have been part of our lives for over 20 years and we love everything about this majestic and loyal breed of dog. We believe that all dogs should live full and happy lives as part of the family. Our dogs have 13 acres of land on our small farm to play and always sleep in the hous

e at night. They get to go on adventures with us and are never bored! We have carefully chosen our dogs not only for their physical characteristics, but also for their stable temperaments and intelligence. Every breeding dog has had health testing with OFA certifications and DNA testing as well as achieving titles to prove their train-ability and temperaments. These attributes produce puppies which are excellent family members that are fun to live with and also capable of protecting the family they love!

CALI VOM SPARREN, BH, FH, BCAT

We have been waiting on the official numbers to announce that Cali has earned another title and now has her BCAT! She’s also currently the #5 ranked GSD in the nation! Of course, we are only 3 weeks into the year 🤣. Super proud of her and we LOVED doing Fast Cat. Very nice people at the Glen Rose show (Nolan River Kennel Club) and lots of fun! 🥰

Our sweet Cali earned her FH1 title today!! This is an advanced tracking title for IGP where the dog has to follow a 1200 pace track aged 2 hours with 2 cross tracks to find 4 articles. It is VERY difficult. We are SO proud of her!! 🥰

This little girl is 12 weeks old and absolutely precious!! 🥰 She is such an outgoing and social puppy. She is smart and has shown great aptitude to learn with excellent engagement. Her toy/ball drive is high and she loves to play! Both parents west German Showline imports with full health clearances and both working and show ring titles (see picture for titles). This lovely girl will be a perfect family member and is quality to be shown as well if desired. Utd on vaccines, deworming, and microchipped. PM/email if interested in adding her to your family!

PUPPIES ARE HERE!! Last night, we welcomed four beautiful puppies from our Nellie X Yucon litter and they are fat and healthy! Nellie is once again being an excellent mother and really loves her babies 🥰. She had an even split of two boys and two girls. One boy and one girl not yet reserved. Message for info! 😍

Cali’s brother Axel Lucaty, owned by Greg Doud

Axel Lucaty retrieve during IGP3 obedience at the 2024 USCA Working Dog Championship. Axel is handled by Greg Doud. Greg had the added challenge of competing with two dogs at at the WDC. Axel, his GSD and George, his Malinois.

#20 is our Cali’s half brother (same mother) and we will be cheering for Axel and his owner Greg Doud to qualify for the USA World Team! 🤗

Last weekend was the GSDCA regional conformation show and both Nellie and her beautiful daughter Reese Von Cacao attended! Reese won VP1- champion in her class in a very nice group of puppies! Her owner Hannah has done such a great job raising her and we look forward to seeing her in more shows strutting her stuff!!
Nellie also did fantastic at the show thanks to the expert handling of Rachel, earning first place in her class and is now:

So proud of both these gorgeous girls!
