Chondo is an adorable pup born on December 20, 2024, and he's ready to find his forever home! 🏡 His mom, Eska, is a 35lb Husky mix, but we think his dad must have been a larger breed—Chondo is expected to grow to around 65-75 lbs full-grown 🐕
This sweet boy is playful, affectionate, and full of puppy energy! He loves playing with toys, romping around with other dogs, and is currently learning all about crate training 👅

Our first Swipe Right feature is Milly! 💙
This sweet girl loves to cuddle with her people. Truly, nothing brings her more joy than a good nap curled up next to someone she loves. She also loves to go on walks and adventures with her fosters, so she would be the perfect fit for someone who enjoys getting out and about, as well as binge-watching tv shows for hours on end.
Milly is truly a people’s dog. She loves humans more than anything, and we think she would do best as a “one and only” dog or with another canine sibling that is relaxed and calm. She’s possessive of her people, space, and food, but she has gotten along well with other dogs before, so if it’s the right match, it’s certainly possible for her to thrive with a canine sibling!
Emilia is a gorgeous girl. She has a beautiful, soulful eyes and the cutest face. She’s very expressive, and her face will make you want to give her countless kisses! As we’re closing out the first month of 2025, we’re reflecting on what a difference the new year has already made in some of our dogs’ lives.
Izzy Azalea is one of them. She was born in May of 2024, and spent most of her life in a rural shelter in a pen. She was never let out and was deprived of human interaction, besides brief visits from shelter staff. Thankfully, an amazing foster stepped up and we were able to get her out of there and into an incredible, loving environment.
2025 is set to be her best year yet as she now knows what it feels like to be loved and cared for - and it’s only up from here! She has high, high hopes that 2025 will bring her forever family.
Izzy is 8 months old and is ready for her forever! She is a fun-loving pup who loves to go on adventures, but also loves nothing more than to snuggle on the couch and watch tv. She absolutely adores other dogs and gets along famously with them. She does great on a leash and loves to get out and about with her foster. She’s already spayed, vaccinated, and well on her way to being fully potty-trained, which will make for an easy transition into her forever home!

This sweet girl wandered up to a previous adopter earlier today. She’s skinny and it’s obvious she has been on her own for a bit. However, her finders say she is sweet as can be and they reached out to us to see if we can help.
We would love to find her a foster, even temporary for a few days, so we can get her situation and healthy. She loves other dogs and is great with kids! She is around 40 lbs.

We have a Christmas miracle to share…
Our rescue partners @the.rescue.sisters went to go pick up Izzy yesterday and bring her to RARE. But Izzy didn’t take her freedoms ride alone… Austin got to come too!
An incredible foster said “yes” to him a few days before transport went so both dogs are now part of RARE and will be spending the holidays indoors with people to love and care for them!
We just truly can’t believe that they’re OUT and now with fosters! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to every single person who shared their stories. They are safe because of YOU!

🚨🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED🚨🚨
This sweet pup is Bo. Bo is in a bad situation and we are urgently asking for a foster so we can save him.
Bo’s owner reached out to us because her boyfriend is being abusive towards Bo - hitting him and yelling at him- and his owner is asking for us to take him to prevent further abuse. Despite being mistreated, Bo is incredibly sweet and loving. He has never shown any aggression towards his abuser, but rather shakes in fear whenever he’s around.
Bo is very sweet and playful - he is great with kids, is dog-friendly and good with cats. He just wants to smell cats, and is very respectful of their boundaries.
Bo is under a year old and is approximately 40 lbs. He is currently neutered, but will be before he goes into foster or adoptive home.

Jenny is our next home for Christmas feature! She has been with us since July 2023. 417 days with little interest. Jenny came to us with demodex mange; her skin was cracked and irritated and her fur had fallen out in patches. We immediately started her on medication and she quickly healed and has turned into the most gorgeous girl!
She is an adorable 2.5-year-old petite Shepherd mix, weighing in at 44 pounds full-grown. Jenny is full of love for her people and makes a loyal companion. While she can be a little shy with new faces at first, she warms up quickly and always lets you know when someone’s at the door or on the property.
Jenny loves to run and play, especially in a fenced yard where she can safely enjoy her favorite toys, like her beloved rope and jolly ball. She would be an amazing companion for someone who loves to be outdoors and cuddling on the couch! She loves to play with other dogs and would thrive with a friendly, well-balanced canine buddy or would also love to be the only dog so she could get all of your attention.
This intelligent girl is both athletic and cuddly — the perfect mix of playtime energy and cozy snuggles. If you’re looking for a smart, active, and affectionate pup, Jenny could be the one for you!
