Holy Heart Rescue I Am an Animal Rescuer

My wallet is always empty, It all started in 2011 with Bonnie and Clyde!

Holy Heart Rescue is currently a "Private" little rescue ran by Me, Myself, and I. Two little Dachshunds that were on their way to the shelter until I stepped in and said I would take them. Days later Bonnie would have her pups and the rest is history. I am not your typical Rescue since I am not equipped to handle a large number of animals or the fact I have any regular volunteers or fosters. I ha

ve dear sweet friends and family that help me when I need it and when they can. I just try to do my part to help a fur baby that comes my way that's in need of medical, housing or just some love. Then I will do what I can to find he or she a furever loving home, by taking applications and doing home inspections and checking references. You just can never be too cautious. I also currently feed a feral colony of cats in the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania area. I do what I can to socialize, vet and adopt out those I think can be saved from living on the streets. If I could - they would all come live with me but I know that is not reality. I am a big believer in Spay and Neuter your pets, since so many are needing loving homes and so many die never experiencing a loving home. So for every fur baby that comes through my door - it will be showered with love, treated with kindness and will always be valued as one of God's precious creatures. In my perfect world - every pet would have a loving home! We have now got our 501c3 so that all donations are tax deductible. We rely solely on donations to help the fur babies in our care. So we are truly grateful for any and all help from all who can help. Again thank you to all who follow me and who have made donations over the years. Now that we have our 501c3, I look forward to helping more animals in the future with your help. Like the saying goes .... In a World where you can be anything ... BE KIND!

Hello everyone! I take care of a small feral colony of 13 at my house. Recently I noticed 5-6 new kitties at my feed station, I am assuming they have been dumped. I was already struggling to buy food before and now I have more. Not to mention now I have to TNR these new ones to stop any new unwanted kittens. I have been out of work waiting on my Disability and absolutely no funds at the moment. If anyone is interested in helping with funds for food I would be so grateful! I use the large 22oz Walmart Special Kitty cans and dry since I get more for the money. My CashApp is below and would provide a receipt to any and all who can donate. Even a small donation helps. Thanks for your time.

Hello everyone … I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help out with cat food for the kitties this month. I am down to the last can and maybe 2-3 days left of dry. Because of personal unforeseen circumstances over the last few days I won’t have the funds to buy more until next month, with 🤞🏼. And to get more for the dollar, I would like to get “Special Kitty” from Walmart, my colony seems to like it. I know they would prefer the higher dollar stuff but they seem happy with the “special Kitty”. I will attach my CashApp if anyone is able and willing to help. I would be so grateful and I know all the Kitties would be too. I can also send a copy of the receipt to any and all who is able to help out.

HELP … DESPERATELY IN NEED OF HELP WITH PET FOOD … PLEASE

Hello everyone … I am in need of help with some cat and dog food for this month. If anyone can help, I would be so grateful. Money has been tight this month due to some unexpected expenses. Though my Rescue is still on hold - I am still currently doing my best to care for my 6 dogs and 15 kitties here at home. I would be so grateful if anyone could help out. I am attaching my Walmart wish list because using “Special Kitty” for the kitties seems to go further for the dollar. And my kitties don’t seem to mind it. I am also able to do a pick up at my local Walmart in SouthPoint in Fredericksburg Va.

Me and all my furbabies will be so grateful!
