Our Story

Aviculture club promoting the keeping and showing of lovebirds (agapornis genus) and all native and exotic parrots while striving to achieve the show standard ideal for each species. See our list of show dates on this page.

Meetings are held at 7.30pm on the fourth Wednesday of the month in the Bird Pavilion at the Ipswich Showground on Warwick Road, Ipswich, Queensland, Australia (entry via Parker Road). Tea, coffee and finger food available. All bird owners are welcome!

LPSQ produces a regular newsletter which is posted to all members. Members can advertise (no charge) their birds for sale or wanted. Stories and articles about members’ pet and breeding birds are welcome for publishing.
