Shout out to Pro Lawn !

Around 3 today part of a large dead tree trunk fell on Retreat Road right on the curve.

Farmer Howard was throwing the big chunks of wood out of the road and I was trying to keep us alive by getting cars to slow down.

A young guy driving this truck pulled over, helped get the wood out of the road, then got his blower and took care of the rest of the debris. I didn’t get his name, but thank you for your help!!

A shout out to everyone who waited in a very long line to vote today - Especially those who were at the Vincentown Fire House !

Aside from my feet hurting, and the mauling I took from my beloved granddaughter, it was very cool to be alongside so many neighbors - all embracing the less than ideal situation, in order to cast their vote.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Trunk or Treat yesterday. It was a beautiful fall day.

We are open Sundays 12-3pm and have Storytime on Mondays at 10:30. Tickets are required for Storytime. Parents and infants under 12 months are free.

Still have some open “Trunk” spots for our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday October 26.

Some of the Trunks will also have items for sale, and our animals will be Spooktacular. Please register if you would like to be a TRUNK.

You do not need a ticket to attend the Trunk or Treat, but we will be asking for a donation to enter the farm!

Cutest jailbreak ever! (The entire property is fenced so everyone is safe)

When we first decided to buy the farm 7 years ago, I wanted to name it something romantic like acres of the heart. (Ok in retrospect, I may have watched one too many Hallmark movies) This video was taken shortly after we went under contract, when we took our kids to show them the property, and we all brought our dogs to let them run around. The dogs immediately discovered the creek, and suddenly the name Muddy Paws Farm was etched in stone.

Happy 4th of July!

It has been a very hectic last 4 weeks at the farm and I apologize for not having the time to post updates for all of our 6000+ followers!! (Thank you everyone for following) A lot of things have happened during that time; Getting the farm ready and preparing for the Golf Outing on 4/27, the Spring Festival on 5/11, and a staff wedding on the farm this weekend (So excited for Nikki & Matt!). We sadly lost an animal and then gained another, but most importantly we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of grandbaby #5 due mid June, but who could need to arrive earlier. We will be posting updates on everything that has happened in the coming days, it will just be after the fact, and possibly not in chronological order. We ask for your patience as all of our family and volunteers are working as hard as we can to keep up to date with all the tasks necessary to run the rescue. (We can always use volunteers to help run the business and social media aspect of the rescue too!)
