Cats and even dogs love my work. Not one of my cat afghans has been rejected and most are embraced with some flamboyant display of recognition and ownership. Every inch of yarn is touched by me as it spins and twists into place and cats can tell I'm one of them or at least I am an allie. I make soft safe places a cat may come to know as sanctuary.
My mother, Marjorie Alice, tried to teach me to crochet in the early 1970's but I didn't master the left hand position before frustration turned me away. Sticky pinky syndrome. I picked up knitting...
