JJ Reptiles Blue Tongue Skink Breeder currently specializing in Merauke Blue Tongue Skinks(Tiliqua gigas evanesc I have loved reptiles all my life.

Around the age of 10 I wanted to upgrade from the standard Leopard Gecko and found Blue Tongue Skinks. After doing my research I planned on getting a captive bred animal, but my parents surprised me with a wild-caught baby Merauke for Christmas because it was significantly cheaper. Although I greatly appreciated the baby it was riddled with parasites and became extremely sick. After hundreds of do

llars in vet expenses it's life was saved but the damage has been done and it has a lot of irreparable damage. This story along with, the demand for wild-caught imports, and the belief that all Meraukes are ugly made me want to breed them for myself to prevent others from going through what I did, lessen the demand for imports, and produce beautiful Merauke Blue Tongue Skinks that make tame and friendly pets for their owners.
