We’re at capacity and need your help to find loving homes for our dogs and cats!

On 8/30 and 8/31, we’re offering $0 adoption fees on all cats and dogs over 6 months old. If you’ve been thinking about adopting, now’s the perfect time to welcome a new furry friend into your life! 🐾

Why yes, that is a Saint Bernard baby! Lakelyn is approximately 9 months old and came to us as a very neglected stray. She was initially very shy, but she's been coming out of her shell more & more every day and her sweet personality is shining through! Lakelyn will need an owner that can handle a big and strong dog. Breed experience is a plus. She will do best in a home with older respectful kids, as she does not yet know her size, and a fenced yard to run and stretch her long legs in.

Meet Jet an 11 pound little pug who is approx 11 years old. Jet has lived in his home for quite some time but he is not doing well with the new little ones in the home. The family is very upset but feels he would be best in a home without small kids. He is in no rush to find a home, as they will hold onto him, but we are hoping we can find a quiet home for him he would love nothing more than to hang out with someone and watch tv all day or go for walks. He is housebroken, but occassionally will have an accident f not let out on time. He loves walks and is good on leash. He's fine in the car. His family has a dog car seat, he just kind of chills in there. He gets a little nervous in the car but he's quiet and still.

ID 56272834 This beautiful girl with soft fur the color of autumn pumpkins is Gina. She was found in Maple Shade and brought to the safety and comfort of the shelter, but nobody came to claim her. Gina is estimated to be three and a half years old. She is a very calm and gentle soul who loves being petted. Gina also enjoys treats! She is up to date on her vaccines and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Gina would love to have a home to call her own. Could this be your home? If so come meet her today!

We're at crisis capacity with almost 240 animals in our care.

Animal intake is now at an all-time high and we've had to halt owner surrenders to keep space for stray pets and cruelty-case animals. Every department, including administration, has been doing their part to pitch in and care for the animals but there's only so much a small group of people can do in one day. We do not euthanize animals for space or length of stay, and we need the support of our community to help us now more than ever. We want to be able to celebrate each adoption - but when one pet goes out, 5 new animals come in.

How you can help:
Adopt - We're open 7 days a week for walk-in adoptions and all of our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped (bit.ly/31GyUUZ)

Foster - Fostering a dog frees up shelter space and helps us gain insight on their perfect forever home. ([email protected])

Volunteer - We need volunteers to assist in cleaning and caring for our shelter pets. ([email protected])

Rescue - We are seeking local rescues to pull animals in an effort to free kennel space for other pets ([email protected])

Happy Clear the Shelters Wednesday from our girl Apple Jack 🍎❤️

AJ is one of our longest residents, and with that face - we have no idea why! This pretty girl is around 2-years-young and weighs around 40lbs 😊 Apple Jack, just like most husky dogs, is a curious and independent girl who is loyal to the humans she loves the most 🫶🏻 Apple Jack loves to go for walks, spend time outside and enjoys belly rubs from her friends 🩷 We think AJ would be happiest as the only pet in her new home!

2 little sweet ladies looking for homes!!!
Mary Jane (black) is about 4 years old and recently lost her home and her owner fell ill. Mary Jane can be a little shy and seems fearful of men. She is absolutely loving when she trusts you, small dog friendly, adult only home for her.
Kashmere (tan) is under a year old, estimated to be around 10 months old, Maltese mix. Kashmere is very much a puppy, small dog ok!!! if you are interested in either of these gals, send us an email and we can get you over an application...[email protected] is our email!! Meet Jasper! 💙 Jasper came to the shelter as a stray and was not reclaimed, so we don't know his back history. He is a Husky who came in shaved. This cute boy is approximately 3 years old. He is a smart boy and eager to please you!❣️ Jasper knows basic commands and walks nice on leash. 🐾 He corrects well and takes treats nicely. 🦴 We are unsure how he will do with others. As always, a meet and greet is required. 🐶 Give Jasper a chance at a forever home! 🏠
