Bruno of Longville, Minnesota Bruno is Longville, Minnesota's town dog. Family-friendly, positive, apolitical, non-commercial. He has veterinary care.

Bruno free-thinking dog who lives with a loving family, has great care and happens to have adopted Longville four miles down the road as extended family. Bruno was born around 2002 or 2003 and left behind but rescued by his owners who live near Longville. He began taking his walks all around the area and discovered Longville. Folks in Longville gave Bruno a unique status allowing him to range free

and greeting him warmly. He is wise and knows the ways of the wild north woods lakes area. He is physically made to flourish in the winter outside but goes home at night to a warm bed and plenty of food. His pink nose sometimes fools folks into thinking something is wrong, it has always been that way. After several months of effort by a few community folks, in spring of 2015 a wood carving of Bruno was placed in a small park in Longville's center. Longville, a town of just around 150 people doesn't encourage everyone to let their dogs run unattended. Bruno, on the other hand, does represent the free-thinking, resilient, outdoor oriented folks of the area.
