Blankets for dogs with cancer, in memory of my sweet Barkley. Distributed through the Live Like Roo Foundation. I'm Amanda, Barkley's mama.

Barkley is a very special doxie. He was mine and he died of nasal adenocarcinoma, an awful cancer in his snout. To deal with my grief and honor his memory, I decided to start making blankets for dogs with cancer (Barkley LOVED blankets). I decided that rather than distribute these special blankets myself, I would send them to the Live Like Roo Foundation to be sent in their doggy cancer care packa

ges. Barkley was a recipient of one of these packages, and it brightened many of his days. He crossed the rainbow bridge wrapped in his blankie from Roo. It is dear to my heart and I will keep it forever. Each of Barkley's Blankies is made from two layers of soft flannel by Barkley's mama, and has his special logo appliqued on it. Unfortunately not every Roo package will have one of these blankets, but I make as many as I can in honor of my sweet boy. Barkley's logo was designed and created by moonandmountaindesigns.com

We sent a blankie to Trouble all the way up in Alaska! We hope she can feel the love while she fights this cancer 💜💜💜 thanks to her family for letting us share this precious photo!
