The Max litter is 10 years old today!! This wonderful litter combined two of my favorite dogs--Al and Irene Lamphere's amazing girl Peach (AGCH MACH5 PACH Gaylan's Peaches 'n Cream MXB2 PADP MJG2 MXP3 MXPB MJP3 MJPB PAX PJDP MXF MFB TQX MFP MFPB T2B5 OD ADHF PADHF) and Karen Hollander's handsome, talented boy, Jack (HRCH Marathon's Being Just Jack MH50 MX MXJ XF WCX VCX QAA CCA OS ADHF HTHF).

A little over seventeen years ago, an amazing litter was born. The Dancing litter combined two of my favorite dogs—Carvel Gold’s wonderful Lily, Gaylan's Firefly's Golden Glo CDX MH WCX CCA VC OD CGC TDI, and Kathy Eddy’s handsome Steeler, Comstocks Steelcity Superman MH CCA WCX ** OS. Lily was a wonderful mom to these 10 pups, except perhaps the day she caught a rabbit for them and brought it into the house.

These pups were a blast to raise and follow throughout their lives. They lived up to their pedigree and were sweet, smart and handsome dogs with tons of heart. Not only great companions, they were successful in every arena from puppyhood on. They even made Lily a GRCA Outstanding Dam before they turned 3!

None of these pups are still with us but we celebrate their memories and legacy. Happy birthday in heaven to Brita, Devon, Castle, Jerry, Michael, Spring, Bebop, Tess, Mulligan, and Bella!

Congratulations to John and Karen Runnels on achieving KT's VCD4. She is only one of two dogs in the US to get this title in 2022. To earn a VDC4, the dog must have its UDX, MX or MXP, MXJ or MJP, and a VST. Pretty amazing accomplishment!

If you don't follow all of these crazy titles dogs get, these are:

- Obedience - Utility Dog Excellent
- Agility - both its Master Standard and Jumpers titles
- Tracking - Variable Surface Tracking (tough, tough title to earn)

It’s our Gamebird litter’s FOURTEENTH birthday! What a milestone for these pups.

This was a really cool breeding because we leased Donna LaHaise’s wonderful girl, Bizzy. We had met and fallen in love with her during our training days at Ambertrail. We thought she was a wonderful match for Lise’s boy, Goose. And we were right!

These 11 pups had a blast playing all kinds of golden games from hunting to obedience to agility and more. And they were just fun dogs to have around…enthusiastic and even-keeled.
