PIT BOWL X!
Where there's a will, there's a way! We think that with a little more practice, Nash will become a bowling pro. Next step is to get the ball on the actual lane!😂
Come out and join us on February 22nd for a great family friendly evening of pizza, raffle and auction prizes, bowling and kisses from our beautiful boy Ben!
We want you to help us celebrate 10 years of Pit Bowl and over 23 years of dog (and the occasional cat) rescue. It just won't be the same without you!

Merry Christmas!
Ben got to spend time with Santa and as you can see, could not believe it was actually him! Yep, Santa made sure he visited Ben and Ben got to whisper his wishes into Santa's ear.
We love that Ben is settled into a home for the holidays, has love overflowing and is living a good and blessed life!
We wish you, your family and friends a beautiful day filled with moments bursting with love and magic, happy and musical memories. And that you feel the precious goodness of this wondrous holiday!
Have fun, enjoy time spent with those you love and know that this little rescue is so very grateful for all you do to support us in so many ways.
All our love,
The Midwest Rescue Family!
Pibble Zooooomies!
It's Friday, a day to let loose and get a little wild! At least that's what MWR alum Cooper thinks. As for Hannah? She's gonna leave the wild to the child.
Show us YOUR zoomies!!!
With no time to waste, Ben is starting his day off on such a good and happy note! With food in your belly, and a quick potty break, it's back to resting Ben.
You'll be romping in no time, buddy!
Nash is AWESOME fun fact:
Nash loves water. He likes to drink it and he loves to swim in it. A fact we didn't know until our adventure last Saturday.
We were taking a leisurely walk in a forest preserve when we happened upon a boat launch. It was a small one used for kayaks and other small water vessels.
So we thought (out loud), "Wonder if Nash likes swimming?". Only one way to find out, right?
You can lead a dog to water but you can't make him swim. Or, in Nash's case, you can't stop him from swimming. Yet another fun box to check on Nash's list of awesome qualities!
Nash had a blast, his smile showed pure bliss and his water plunges expressed freedom of spirit. Our boy, yet again, amazed us.
We love Nash. And we want him to remain the happy boy that he is. The dog who loves life and whatever adventures it brings his way.
Will his living in a kennel dim his passion for life, take away the happiness in his heart? We don't want to find out, and those questions haunt us. But the reality is that we need somewhere for him to go by the end of the month. He can no longer remain where he is and if we can't find a foster for him, a kennel is our only option.
Please help Nash. If you are in a position to foster or are looking to add a sweet member to your family, let us know. Shoot us a message or visit our website at www.midwestrescue.org.
And please share his posts. We know that Nash believes in us. Just like we believe in you. Let's make this happen for Nash.
Happy Father's Day to all the human and pet dads out there!
We hope you have a day filled with happy, joyous moments that will remain with you for a really long time. And a day filled with love and appreciation for being the great dad you are!

I am seeking a foster home or a forever home!
Meet Nash!🐾💙🐾 He's 1 1/2 years old. 50 lbs. If you are interested in fostering or adopting, visit www.midwestrescue.org.
If you want some "Happy" in your life, Nash is the guy for you!
Nash needs a foster or forever home ASAP, we simply can't afford to keep him where he is and will be moving him to a regular boarding kennel. This is hurting our hearts that he will go from a home environment to a small run.
If you are interested in fostering or adopting Nash, or want to learn more about him, shoot us a message or visit our website at www.midwestrescue.org.
We'd love to chat with you!
