I filled them with little treats and they had to work out how to get them out. Great for enrichment and brain work, plus a tasty treat too. Next time I’ll put some natural yogurt or one of our doggy friendly peanut butters in them for more fun.

How it all Began

Let me first introduce you to my inspiration for this little business. I have Bertie who is a 3 year old Basset Hound, Bonnie who is a 5 year old West Highland Terrier, Buster who is a 7 year old Jack Russel and Lilly who is a 10 year old Tabby Cat.

Lilly has food allergies so can be hard to feed without making her allergies flare up, Bonnie is very fussy and will only eat certain things, Bertie will eat most things but can be fussy at meal time and Buster is the easiest of them all as he will eat anything but does get fussy at times.

I found that most store bought foods would make Lilly’s allergies react and she got quite poorly at one time, so started feeding her a mix of a dry food and homemade food and she is back to her old self. Bonnie will sometime refuse her meals and once went 3 days hardly eating anything, she now loves her homemade foods and treats and now rarely refuses a meal. Bertie like cheese on everything and also being a basset hound will eat nearly everything even when he isn’t meant to, basset hounds can also have issues with their weight. So by making his meals and treats I can keep a very close eye on what he is eating and how much and make sure it is balanced and healthy. As I said before Buster is the easiest one and very rarely refuses anything but as he heads in to his later years I want to make sure he is eating the very best that he can and has a very healthy, balanced diet.

So this was the reasons behind starting this business. I want to share some of my fur-babies favorite treats with yours, plus there will be other pet products available such as blankets, beds, ropeys and other products to spoil your pets.
