It's not often that we ask for any kind of financial support to do what we do. Usually we dig deep into our own pockets and find ways to cover all the costs associated with rescue. We have been blessed many times with food donations, sometimes monetary, and most recently, as you know, RBARI has been covering the cost of spay/neuter which historically cost us $125 per cat.
Any medical care beyond that, however, is our responsibility. Often times the cats we trap and care for need bloodwork and medicine be it for eye infections, respiratory infections, injuries, etc., and to be honest it gets hard.
Recently we have had more of these instances arise and need to turn to our community for help.
If you are able to donate any amount, we, and the cats we save, would be forever grateful.
And to say thank you, we will send you a handmade catnip stuffy toy! Just include your address in the message portion. Our venmo (for helping cats and humans in town) is @helpnm
Just see how much Mama (another New Milford rescue) enjoys hers!
Thank you all so very, very much. 😻
New cat tree with some cat nip does the trick.
If your cats are scratching things they shouldn’t, make sure they have plenty of places where they know it’s okay for them to go crazy. If they don’t show initial interest in it then sprinkle some of that good green 😹😹
Getting there!

What. A. Ham.
Doesn’t it drive you crazy when people say that cats aren’t lovable?
