Atlanta, Our Superhero

The NEAAAT family sends our deepest sympathy to the Robertson family on the passing of dear Atlanta. Atlanta was among the first students to open the doors at NEAAAT in 2015 and graduated with the senior class of 2020. For five years at NEAAAT, Atlanta brought on smiles with her sunny disposition and taught us compassion, empathy, and to respect the important jobs of working dogs. She was well-loved by all and will be sorely missed.

So mama thinks is pretty cool that my girl was 11 years, 5 months, 4 days when she met me and I lived on this earth 11 years, 5 months, 3 days.

Here’s the day we met and a boat ride a few weeks ago.

Pray for my family. They are missing me so much.

I loved my girl and watched after her until the very end. I found out I had cancer September 8 and have had mostly wonderful days, but this morning my girl, her family, and roommates loved me and told me goodbye. This is Shirley. I love her and approve of her. She’s been hanging out a lot with my girl and I for a while now.

So I just have to add that mama is convinced I held out until my girl got her new fancy pump. You remember years ago when she got that fancy one that talked to her some other part and I actually got to sleep through the night a few nights? Well, she picked up an even better one the other day and she has her training for it tomorrow.

Thank you all for loving me through the years. Please share all your stories and pictures….they will help my family so much because I’m not going to lie, they are struggling. Please say some extra prayers for them, too…especially my girl. I was with her nearly every moment from 11.5 to 21.5…those were the BEST years. I will love her forever. ❤️

Sooooo my girl is minoring in Recreational Therapy and she brought Ziggy to our apartment!!! So far, so good, but he better not try to get all my girl’s attention. She and her roommates have been giving me lots of extra rubbing and love. He’s actually pretty smart, but not as smart as me.
