Poor Louie is on the mend! He had some bruising on his foot and an abscess making its way out. Unfortunately we won’t make it to the North American Clyde/Shire Fall Classic like we had hoped but I’m just relieved we have a plan for this guy and can get him 100% soon!

Louis (owned by Jenson Shires) was an absolute gem at the Iowa State Fair. Unfortunately he is still a little tender from an abscess we thought we had healed up and the arena was pretty packed and hard from the wagons so he was a little ouchy on that foot and we didn’t place as well as we had hoped but he was an absolute gentleman.🥰 We have been working very closely with our farrier and Chiropractor to get this guy healed up, next we will head to the vet for X-rays on that foot and hoping we can get him to 100% before a show at the end of August- and most importantly get him comfortable and healthy.

Chili is available, she has been a heck of a horse for us but unfortunately she isn’t getting out as much as she deserves! Registered Clydesdale perfect size, completely beginner safe, she trail rides, moves cows, safe on the road, trains younger horses to drive, drives single and double, gives lessons(riding and driving), and will canter under saddle. Pm for info!

Took a few girls out on the trail, Big G the paint and Andrea (owner) were amazing, they have been with me for a few months and have come so far. Chili the Clydesdale (owned by H&M) and Carter were flawless, this was Chilis first outing with us and she did not disappoint! I was also able to ride my own girl Dakota for the first time on the trails in a very long time. 💜

After 3 lessons Andrea and Big G have each other figured out! I loved working with these two and am excited to continue lessons and watch these two grow! Looooove that smile 💜

It's a week overdue, but Sandy and Zoe were amazing at the Iowa State Fair! I only had two months to prep these girls and they were absolutely perfect! Huge thank you to Karen and Bill of Silverado Shires for allowing me to show these girls. Another shout out to Nicole and Carter for being amazing help, this being Carters first state fair and Nicoles second they made this fair my favorite one yet!

We will be at the Iowa State Fair Aug 14-17, we have a cart class Sunday show starts at 6, halter Monday morning, riding class Monday at 6, and a cart and riding class on Tuesday at 5! Hope to see some of you there!
