Some of our pups have been in the "Prairie Smart Pup" training for the past couple of weeks. It has been amazing collaborating with Tranquil k9 on this. They are truly wonderful, and love the pups, and put 100% effort into training them! We stopped in to see how they were doing last week. This beautiful girl is staying for a third week. She is such a cuddly sweetheart! Not to mention that adorable face!!!! My heart melts!

Introducing our gemstone litter. My youngest daughter chose this theme to name these pups. We love this theme because in the bible, in the book of revelation, it talks about the beauty of heaven, and gemstones are a part of that.

Beautiful Araina or "Raina" we like to call her. She is sporting a beautiful collar from in the lavender with brass quick release buckle.

Araina is one of our retired momma's just living her best life digging holes in her pursuit to catch gophers, laying around in the shade and finding a swimming hole anywhere she can because she loves water.

We are super excited to announce a new program that we have recently added! Prairie Smart Pup utilizes the help of professional trainers to teach new skills and gives families tools that will help their new puppy transition into their new home. Here is what our new program offers!

✅️ Families have the option to sign their new puppy up for this training program, starting at 8 weeks of age. There are 2 or 3 week options depending on what the family wants to achieve during that time. The new puppy will be boarding with the trainer so they can work consistently on the new skills.

✅️ The trainers evaluate each puppy and tailor the program to fit the needs and unique personality of each pup.

✅️ All training is done with love, gentleness, and patience. We are working with skilled trainers who love what they do and train using positive methods.

✅️ Each puppy will receive a detailed report card showing what they have learned during their stay with them.

✅️ Ongoing support sets their new puppy up for success.

✅️ Regular updates during the duration of the program.

✅️ An affordable rate as well as discounts for future training classes.

Limited spots are available for each litter.

We are super proud to share this picture of Arlo. He is not only a family dog, he is also a therapy dog at his families fire station where he spends a lot of time. He also works alongside his firefighter as his partner in search and rescue. Good job Arlo!!! We are so proud of you!

We have had a few changes around here recently with this sweet little guy. The guardian family we had originally lined up to care for this guy didn't work out. So he has been with us for a couple of weeks.

We decided to rename him and felt the name Finnigan was quite suiting. He has been a blessing from God to us. Hence, the meaning of his name. We are so grateful to be able to spend this time bonding with him and getting to know him better. He is such a good boy we couldn't be more happy with him!

Introducing Mickey!!! The newest addition to the Prairie Willow Family! Mickey is a moyen poodle. Once he is old enough and has passed all his heath clearances, we plan to add him to our bernedoodle and goldendoodle program!! He is currently living with a guardian family. His family is a young family of 4 plus 2 dogs now. They are local to Drumheller, so we get to see him more frequently.

Thank you to for doing such a great job raising him! They are incredible breeders who are very intentional with health and socialization. If you're looking for a poodle, I highly recommend them!

Females: Keele - Keele Peak is located in Nahanni National Park in the NWT Sylvia - Peak located in BC Edith - Mount Edith Cavell in Jasper National Park Amery - Mount Amery in Banff National Park Ruby - Ruby Peak in Waterton, AB Males: Boswell - Mount Boswell in Waterton National Park Samson - Samson Peak in Jasper National Park Robson- Mount Robson is the largest peak in the Canadian rockies. He is also the largest pup in the litter.😉 Mac - Sir James MacBrian is a peak located in Nahanni National Park. Now, google pictures of these peaks. There are so many puppies!!! We love it! They are at such a fun age. They love the attention and the freedom to run and play and socialize. We still have a few doodle pups still available!!
