I don't think I have ever actually introduced myself on here before, so I thought I better take a moment to do that.

You won't often see me in front of the camera. I also do not share pictures of my kids on here, so it is a rare thing when they are found in a picture. They are, however, super involved in our breeding program. Here is a little about each of us and what our job is.

Vicky - Owner and operator
- I run the majority of the business. I do the majority of the care for the dogs and puppies. Planning Litters, manage, breedings, vet appointments, managing the day to day etc.
- Photography
- Social Media
- Website design and management
- Secretary, paperwork, filing, billing, and books
- Cleaner
- A few of the other things I do that keep me busy. Caring for my family, volunteering in our community and Church, chauffeur my kids to activities, and help renovate our home.
- Things I enjoy doing, gardening, read my bible and spend time with Jesus, home decor, spend time with friends and home making.

Brett
- Finance manager
- Builder and fencer
- Fix what is broken
- Assist with breeding and whelping when needed
- Assist with sick animals
- Moral support for Vicky
- Brett also manages a heavy duty mechanic shop, very part time farmer, and volunteer in our community and Church
-antique trucks make him happy and driving things that have motors with his boys.

My oldest daughter
- Training
- Grooming (learning)
- Puppy checks
- Socialization
- Puppy early neurological stimulation
- 4H, horses, volleyball, and other athletics

My middle daughter
- Socialization
- Extra puppy feeds
- Weighing pups
- Assistant photographer
- Assistent cleaner
- Moms job with day to day care when mom is away
-4H, horses, and crafts

My oldest son
- Help dad with building projects and fixing fences
- Socialization
- Puppy checks
- Outdoor clean up
- Assist mom when needed
- 4H, basketball, mechanics, motorbikes, snowmobiling, driving, and trying to fix anything with a motor

My youngest son
- Socialization
- Assist mom or dad when needed
- 4H, motorbikes, snowmobiling

The best part about raising puppies is seeing how much joy they bring their families! We love it!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!
I can finally share the big news we have had to keep to ourselves for months! We have been in communication with George Lichti, owner of Golden Country Tails, for quite a while about taking over their program. Over the years, George has built an incredible program, breeding top quality english cream golden retriever's. They have high standards and similar values as we do. We are honored to be carrying on the legacy that they started. This past weekend, it all finally came to a close! We are very excited to ANNOUNCE that we are expanding our golden retriever program!!!

Don't worry, we will still be planning all the same breeds we already do. We are just planning for a few more litters than what we have done in the past. That means shorter wait times! We are also hiring some help so we can continue to do a good job raising our dogs and puppies. What you can expect from Prairie Willow over the next year.⬇️

Mittens is now Poppy!! She recently graduated from the "Prairie Smart Pup" training program and is now with her forever family. Her kids got surprised for Christmas!!

Our boy Eggnog! This sweet boy is playful, energetic, affectionate, curious, adventurous, adaptable, and has an incredibley soft coat! Eggnog has more of the bernese look but with lots of the poodle s***k! He will be a nice big boy with blocky and solid features when he is all grown up.
