Hi all, there will be no more Devon Rex babies available & I do not see this ever changing.
An era came to an end yesterday when Bonn was desexed.
It was a very sad day but one that had to happen as both of Bonn's testicles were abnormal & damaged following his recent fight with dry FIP.
Not something I had planned on doing in his 10th year.

It was the correct decision to make for his ongoing well being.
This page will remain open for the sharing of MeggaBonn kids & the kids that Harper & Bonn created.

He has left a wonderful legacy behind with some 40 or so babies spanning over almost 8 years.

The Mother Miggs has been desexed for around 2.5 years now.

Bonn will be the end of his line.

Thankyou Bonn for the beautiful kittens you have given who have made so many families happy.
You were & are still a true handsome king & a huge part of my family ❤️

Who can we help?

As much as we at FIP Cats Australia would love to save every cat or kitten from FIP, we do have some limitations.

We are an Australian based charity & have some limitations on how and who we can help.

Due to our ACNC charity status (for those internationally, this is our government regulation for not for profits) we cannot conduct business outside of Australia. Therefore we cannot donate, or do much else for our international followers other than provide information. We cannot promote GoFundMe or donation pages for any cases unless they are based in Australia, we can direct you to other groups where you could share your promotional page.

Due to our current size and the fact we are volunteer run, we cannot take on the responsibilities that comes with being able to conduct business outside of Australia. It is not in the foreseeable future, maybe one day if we get to the size of Amnesty or those alike, we could, but that is highly unlikely.

We will endeavour to support those internationally with information or provide you with contacts of other people we may have spoken to in your country to assist you on your journey as they know the legalities for your location, but at this stage that is all we can do.

We felt its important for us to publicly announce this as we have had a lot of international cases contact us and we do not want them to feel we dont want to help, it's just we can only legally do so much.

With one huge chapter closing at MPRFP with The Mother Miggs retired & Harper set to follow with desexing in about a month it is now Pyper's turn to meet Bonn.
Pyper is a seal torti- blue eyes
Bonn is black- yellow/green eyes.

Hi all,
Sad news for little Harper once again.
Last night she went into labour & gave birth to a single little girl, born life extinct.
Thank-you to all who have followed Harper's journey.
We can not say that she hasn't given it her best shot, being the most placid & loving mum to her babies but sadly some girls are not destined to breed as her journey has seen quite substantial heartbreak & loss.
I have decided I won't put her through this again.
Harper is now going to enjoy a well deserved retirement, she is such a beautiful, loving little soul.
If there are no complications post birth, she will go to the vet for desexing with the next litter of sphynx kittens.

HCM scanning for Pyper at the end of March will determine MPRFP breeding future.
Kennedy is in doubt atm & will be scanned at a later date, as will Nygel.

Breeding is a hard gig at best. We were very blessed with The Mother Miggs, but are equally as blessed with Harper, who is as loyal as any dog I've ever seen, maybe moreso.
Harper is also our link & half sister (same mum) as William (dec).

Please keep following this page to see if Pyper's HCM scan is clear at which time she will be around 18 months old & will join Bonn for her 1st litter.

This is very exciting news where HCM in the cats we love is concerned.
Any cat can get this horrid disease which can be caused by genetics as well as other factors. It is worth watching the video & reading the information. This could be an unparalleled breakthrough for those with a kit that has This awful disease & those yet to be diagnosed.

He will be mocrochipped.
