While we rescue a lot of perfectly social dogs, not all of them check off the "yes" boxes for cats, dogs and small kids. And she needs someone who doesn't expect perfection when rescuing. She can be reactive in certain situations and needs someone assertive to help her in the right direction. Peggy Sue is looking for a snuggle mate (if you don't mind a snorer). She's looking for someone who is all
ergic to cats, or has no desire to have one, and would love someone who enjoys one-on-one walks, over the dog park. She's come so far since arriving. From fearing stairs and car rides, to bounding up the stairs to hop in the truck where she now wants the window open to smell her freedom. She loves to be little spoon and makes the cutest little puppy grunts when cuddling. She loves everyone she meets, and the mail lady who spoils her is her favorite person at work. Peggy (aka Miss Piggy) is crate trained and will go in on her own to have a nap. She's been left alone in the crate, and out, for up to 4 hours with no issues. And while loving people and wanting to cuddle, she's also independent and will sneak off to have a nap in the bedroom. Are you Peggy's hero???
