Pye having a "nose dive" sleep on the arm of the sofa and not even the word "HAM" is exciting him.. just feeling lazy! (Apology for poor sound on this, is laptop playing up)

17 Feb 2017.. Pyewacket is normally not dominant toward any other cat, he is neutered and quite laid back normally.. BUT he has formed an "association" over time with young tux girl Anna Purrna (spayed) , who IS a bit of a flirt with him..quite a diva actually..and he now has decided he has to be "the man" and be dominant with her. She is not at all bothered, swishes her tail and walks off with her nose in the air usually.. Is quite comical..

When I took my poor Andy Stanley to the vet hospital today there was a lady there who fosters for a UK cat rescue .. I met her outside the hospital, in the grounds, and she had Pyewacket ready to go in to be euthanased due to being FIV+, as the rescue she fosters for, do not rehome FIV+ cats.. well I soon changed that, and he is now home with me ..forever. I have other FIV cats and some non FIV.. it IS the luck of the draw who becomes infected or carries the virus ..and should NOT be a death sentence just for testing positive with it . The lady was very relieved .. and Pye is my birthday gift to myself as today was my 57th Birthday.
He will be safe now FOR LIFE.. however long that may be ..I HAVE had FIV+ cats in their teens.. My Gizmo who had an operation to remove a brain tumour at age 13 in 2005, and lived, was FIV+, My Jeanie Cat who died in Oct 2014 was FIV+ and was thirteen. My Avril who is FIV+ is almost 9 ..Pyewacket is ONLY THREE
