Today is National Dog Day, so Gomes and I made sure he had a great day! The park, the sea wall, a visit with his old girlfriend in Ogunquit with tons of tourist love downtown.

Gomer had daycare today.
It was exhausting….. On the way home he only had the energy to stick his nose out the window…. that way he didn’t have to stand up, but still got some snuffling in.

This weather is really tough on Gome. He has a very low tolerance for heat so we make him hang out in the house all day. We brought him in a great outing tonight. It was actually cool at the beach. He had a blast. 🥰

Chris life guarded at this Special Surfers event in Kennebunk last night. We went to hang out and watch for a bit. It was pretty cool. Such a beautiful event, night and Gomer was in heaven with all the attention. There is a link to donate to this program in the website if you’re moved to do so. At minimum, check out the web site.

The amount of time Gomer spent trying to spit this tiny piece of broccoli out of his big old fleshy lips was something to behold. He found it on the floor near the trash can and quickly determined it was A VEGETABLE!!!!!!! (…. pure poison in the mind of a Gomer.) He is truly something else. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Off to daycare!!!!!

I found a friend named Utah at the dog park today. Two old guys playing like puppies, Mum said…..

Mum brought me for a nice walk in the cooler weather. My favorite part is when we get home!!!!! 💦 🚿

Mum says I have to stay really hydrated…whatever that means. I just like to drink from the hose.

When Hoss and Mary's open for the season, I can’t contain myself. I love me some Mary snacks and kisses.

Dad checks me for ticks when I come home from walks. Mum caught the end of this morning’s tick check with her phone because she said it looked super sweet because I had already climbed up on the couch. (I’m not supposed to do that until after tick check 😕.) I just wanted to nap.
