Bearfoot Cabin is a 750 square foot cabin that sleeps six. There are two bedrooms: one with a full bed, the other with a bunk bed, and a queen size pull out sofa in the living area. All sleeping facilities include bed linens. A fully equipped kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, apartment size stove, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishes, utensils, pots and pans and glass/cup ware. The b
athroom has a large walk in shower and include six sets of towels. Air conditioning for the hot summer days and gas heat for cooler days including a faux electric fireplace is also included. Books and games are in the cabin to use at your pleasure. Outdoor features include a sheltered picnic table, fire ring (wood can be purchased nearby), lawn chairs, propane grill, swing set for children under 10 years of age, and spacious open yard with plenty of parking. Also available is Wi-Fi internet, cell phone and DirectTV accessibility. We do permit up to two well-behave house trained pets for an additional $5/night each but they must be on leash at all time and cannot be left alone in the cabin. We do have dog crates that can used, if interested. Bearfoot Cabin is located on a private road off Forest Road that leads directly into Cook Forest State Park. RATES ARE: Weekends Friday to Sunday at $240; Long Weekends Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday at $290* or seven days at $390* NOTE *an additional $10 disposal fee of garbage is added unless the renter takes the garbage home. Senior Citizens ages 65 and up get a 10% discount. Must be 21 years of age to reserve. $100 deposit is due within 5 days to hold your reservation. An additional 6% PA state tax and 3% county tax will be added to the rental rate. More information will be given as to our guidelines upon your interest. As a note, we take pride in keeping our cabin clean .... the cabin is next door to our home and was purchased so that our family/friends had their own private place to stay when visiting us.
