Poor nutrition can mean a life cut in half. It could even be a life full of pain and misery for sure.
Even birds that live on an “adequate parrot diet” can end up having a myriad of health problems including liver disease, feather disorders, respiratory problems and other issues.
So many parrot owners believe that bird seed and water is the perfect parrot diet. Seed has been considered the standard for so long that many owners believe that is all it takes to provide a healthy and balanced nutritional diet for their birds. But make no mistake about it – it takes a lot more than that.

You don't need 20 ingredients to make a wholesome chop

Sprouts
These sprouts are a great addition to your parrot's diet. They are high in fiber, protein, and vitamins A, B, and C. They also contain important minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

Red bell peppers
Vitamin A is important for vision, and bell peppers are an excellent source of this vitamin. Bell peppers also have a significant amount of Vitamin C, which helps to boost the immune system.

Carrots
Containing high levels of beta-carotene, carrots can go a long way in supporting optimal eye health, which is important for birds of all species.

Granny smith apples
Apples are loaded with healthy fiber, which can help feed the friendly bacteria in your parrot's gut and can help control cholesterol and blood sugar levels in their body. Fiber is also great for digestion and helps prevent constipation.

Celery
Rich in fiber, which plays a vital role in supporting digestion and providing mental stimulation for parrots.

Chia seeds
These seeds are an excellent source of calcium for your bird. They are also high in magnesium, phosphorus and protein and are great for supporting healthy bones.

Cayenne chillies
Rich in Vitamin A, which helps in the growth and repair of tissues and also for good eyesight and hearing. Eating chillies also helps in improving feather quality, colour and shine. It is an anti-inflammatory and a mild pain killer

Dandelion
High in vitamins A, C, and K and offer trace amounts of vitamins B and E and luteolin, calcium, magnesium, and iron.

Die ongelukkige waarheid van die besit en bestuur van 'n besigheid.😓

Om 'n besigheid te bestuur is regtig moeilik.😥

Wat hulle nie vir jou sê nie, is dat dit erge stres en angs kan veroorsaak, en jou geestelik dreineer tot die punt van depressie in selfs die mees ontspanne mense.

Mense sal oor jou praat, jou met ander vergelyk, jou gebruik, hulle sal jou as 'n diens beskou en nie meer 'n persoon nie.

Baie mense sal afslag verwag en mense sal jou en jou harde werk minder waardeer as 'n groot kettingwinkel of maatskappy.

Jy moet bekommerd wees oor as jy vergeet om iemand te e-pos/boodskappe terug te stuur, gaan hulle d**k dit was doelbewus? Het jy hulle teleurgestel? Sal hulle dit teen jou hou? Wanneer jy in werklikheid net nie by almal se boodskappe en e-posse kan uitkom nie.

Om 'n suksesvolle besigheid te begin en te bestuur plaas ongelooflike druk op persoonlike lewens en verhoudings, waarvan baie misluk omdat daar net dikwels geen balans tussen werk en lewe is nie.

Jy moet die direkteur, die werker, die admin, die bemarkingspan, die rekenmeester, die skoonmaker wees..... Dit alles terwyl jy 'n ouer, 'n man of 'n vrou, familieondersteuning, vriend...

Daar is 'n rede waarom jy nie sien dat baie mense ná 5-10 jaar sukses behaal in klein besighede nie. As hulle suksesvol is, is hulle oorweldig.

Dit eis 'n tol. Dit is vrek uitputtend. Veral die afgelope paar jaar toe so baie buite ons beheer was.

Hier is 'n klein herinnering dat ons net normale mense is met 'n gejaagde lewens.

Wees vriendelik, wees geduldig, ondersteun klein besighede …….en hopelik sal meer van ons bybly!
