What an exhausting, long but fulfilling day 😍
So many new faces, new opportunities to educate owners and improve furry lives 🐶 Puppy, Lili, Rex, Pretty, Dusty, Henry, Tiger.
The doggies and kitties absolutely LOVED their Christmas meals, an annual and loving tradition from Critter Rescue SA to provide the yummy pets' mince and rice for so many organizations and we are blessed to be part of that list 😘 Thank you!! It's a looooot of cooking but soooo worth it!!
Thank you Endeavor Engineering for offering your vehicle for the day and adding lucky packets for the kids, they were so happy and gladly cleaned bowls and filled water where asked to help 🤗
Spot, Blessing and Socks finally received their tick and flea treatment and deworming, the new pups we saw received dewormer too 🫶
Some highlights though....
Julie was sterilized a few months ago, shortly after she was given away and we didn't know where she was. As we were plating food, someone called us to their home to meet their dog Henry and explained there's a dog across the road too and called the kids to open up. As I'm talking to Henry whilst eating his meal, I heard that dog go crazy! Looking through the open gate... It was Julie and she recognised me 🥰 She was so happy to see me and I was overjoyed knowing where to find her again, lots of love, cuddles and kisses were exchanged!
Another dog given away, Lady, that always battled to put on weight, eyes full of discharge, yet to be sterilized, was visiting at Blue & Spotty's home whilst her new owner was away. She looks healthier, gained weight, clear eyes and looked so much better than ever before. Another happy moment finding her again and will finally be able to get her sterilized 😬
Five hours of yummy cooked food, 100 kgs of pellets distributed, toys and treats for the doggies, meeting new dogs that need us and around 50 or more kids getting packets was an incredibly rewarding day!
Next will be our in-town families and animals to receive their goodies 😍
