When a female squirrel finds another baby squirrel, she gives him food and makes sure that he is an orphan and has no mother or father, and after 3 days of investigation and actually making sure that he is without family, she takes him gently and feeds him and makes him familiar with living with her and her young as if he was one of her children.

The female squirrel is unique in receiving her husband when he returns with food with kisses and wooing him in order to ease the fatigue of bringing food to her and her young.

The male squirrel always expresses his love for his female by giving her the most beautiful roses and the largest walnuts and almonds...

Kitten season is here. Please don't give kittens away for free. Please adopt them out through a reputable rescue organisation. They need to be dewormed/vaccinated & sterilised at the appropriate age. If not they will end up breeding & adding to the increasing number of unwanted & homeless cats. To get kittens micro chipped, vaccinated and sterilized without using a rescue organisation costs a fortune. You get a really good deal getting kitties from a from a rescue organisation, the adoption fee includeds sterilization, micro chip and the first vaccination. is around 2 years and was surrendered by her owners a few weeks ago. She only weighs 4.5kg and is the tiniest little jack russel doggy.

Chichi loves the world and she loves her foster mom! She would love to have a parent at home during the day as she doesn't like being left alone.

She wouldn't mind dog or cat siblings as long as you have lots of balls for her to play with! Chichi plays fetch and she knows how to sit like a little meerkat 🥰
She also loves driving in the car and going with her foster mom to work or on adventures.

This girl - also named Perrie 😅 - is estimated to be around 3 years old. She was found at the beginning of the year, abandoned with 6 babies and is still waiting to find her forever home.

She is super loving and great with other cats, dogs and kids. She would love to be an indoor cat (doesn't really like to wander) and cosy up on your lap every night.

This lovely cat was brought into the clinic by her owner who traveled from Nomzamo. He requested to have her sterilised.However, after the procedure, he made the unfortunate decision to no longer keep her. She has now found herself in foster care with our friends at HART- Helderberg Animal Rescue Team.
