ROGZ Mandela Day 2024
For Mandela Day 2024, ROGZ celebrated PEOPLE AND PETS! 100 Teacher Appreciation gifts, scarves and heartwarming letters were distributed to the involved teachers at the 4 schools we work with in Dunoon and Joe Slovo through ROGZ Academy. Scarves were handknitted by pupils at Elkanah House High, special Jam Jars filled by staff at ROGZ HQ and beautiful heartfelt notes were written by the YeBoneers. The teachers were overwhelmed and felt very appreciated! Three pet charities were also very happy to be gifted a box each of ROGZ gear - Fallen Angels Pet Rescue, Animal Anti-Cruelty League Cape Town, and Animal Welfare Society of SA. A great Mandela Day 2024 of love from ROGZ and ROGZ Academy!

The Cape Clothing & Textile Cluster aims to boost the competitiveness of the clothing, textile, footwear and leather manufacturing industry in the Western Cape. As part of this vision, they run various programmes including the Emerging Leader Development Programme (ELDP). The ELDP supports the multi-skilling and development of well-rounded and innovative current and future industry leaders.
Four of our own Roggerz have recently graduated from the programme. We would like to say a big well done to Kirsten Kriel, Kashiefa Erasmus, Talisa du Preez and Shavaughn Tyrrell for completing the course!
