All of these animals have been rescued from euthanasia, neglect or abuse and every soul is so deserving and grateful.
Most of these animals lived with me, but with so many in need and limits on how many I can have in my home, I had to move them to keep them safe.
I've been rescuing and re-homing dogs for 8 years, I never give up and always ensure they get to their perfect home, but I can't do this alone and I need your help.
Please consider sponsoring a dog or contributing to the backlog by clicking on the BackABuddy funding link below, these amazing animals need our help and together, we can save them all.

On behalf of Ariella & Zoë, Max, Duke, Monica & her pups Grace, Faith, Hope & Favour, Miri, Collie, Foxy, Raffi, Ollie, Layla, Limit, Mercy, Panda & myself, thank you, please share.
Ariella & Zoë's human Mum died in June last year and it was her dying wish that they find a loving home. Zoë, a 4 year-old brindle Staffi mix was rescued at 8 weeks old having been found whelping and yelping with barbed wire around her neck and tied to a pole, about to be thrown in a fire and eaten, they are close friends and Zoë needs a supportive person who she can be close to. They grew up with kids.
Max was found tied to a chain, covered in ticks, his ears eaten away by flies, he was malnourished and sick and was half the weight he should have been. After months of tender loving care, he is thriving, but he's an old pitbull of around 13 and needs comfort and safety.
1 year old Duke jumped into someone's car twice looking for help and thankfully, we managed to get him to safety as he was at risk of being euthanised. He's a loving boy and needs a responsible person.
Monica was found on the street covered in burns, probably as a result of someone throwing boiling water on her whilst she was mating. Unbeknown to me at the time, she was pregnant and went on to have 7 beautiful pups, one of whom, died. She is a lovely girl and so are her girls Grace, Faith, Hope & Favour, they are full of life and just want to run and play.
Miri was hit by a car and left without treatment. She had to endure extensive cage rest over 4 weeks, her leg and hip was in a Thomas splint to stop it from moving and she was then confined to a small room for 2 weeks whilst she healed. Her skin was dry and covered in scabs, but I treated her with supplements and rubbed olive oil onto her skin and her coat is now beautifully glossy and her skin is perfect. She is a jumping bean with so much life and she is a beautiful loving girl of about 1 ½.
Sweety was kept in a tiny cage, together with her brother, Scooby, and she was saved from being euthanised. She is an easy dog, very sweet, hence her name and she's 6.
Collie is 7, he's a small spaniel and loves nothing more than to stick to you like glue and just be next to you. He's a lovely boy who is quite feisty, so he needs someone who understands him and will just allow him to be himself, no kids, just a single person who will love and protect him.
Foxy is 7, found at a motorway service station, soaking wet and freezing cold. She had bad skin and was covered in ticks, but I sorted her out and gave her everything she needed. She loves playing and she's amazing to sleep next to as she's solid as a rock and doesn't move.
Raffi is 2, he had mange and his hair was peeling off his skin in big chunks. I hand-picked every flea and tick off him and he allowed me to, even though he was scared, but he's learned to trust people and he's grown into a strong and loving boy.
Ollie is around 7 years old, he is desperate to be an only dog and to get all the attention and all the pets. He loves playing ball and fetching sticks or stones and he enjoys adventures. He needs someone who will love him as he is and allow him to come for loves on his own terms.
Layla is about 4 years old, I rescued her from the street as she was limping along with a sore paw and she was obviously homeless as she was very smelly. She's a tough cookie as she's used to having to fend for herself, but she enjoys loves and cuddles and will allow you to just love on her. She needs a strong person as her fighting instinct is strong if someone does something she doesn't like.
Limit is a sweet little Maltese, he's such a good boy and is 5 years old. He can sometimes be feisty and he doesn't like cats, he was rescued very malnourished and thin as the person who was looking after him couldn't afford to feed him and I think he must have gone without for a while. He's very gentle and will be a lovely addition to a good family.
Mercy is 1 years old, I rescued her from the street as she was desperately in need of help, was severely malnourished with her bones and ribs showing and would have died had I not stopped. She was infested with fleas and ticks, I removed about 400 manually over 2 days and her entire body was scabs. Despite a difficult start, she is full of energy and ready to start her new life.
Panda was rescued from a tiny yard which was covered in nails and rubbish and sharp objects. He's a very strong and powerful pitbull and needs an equally strong and powerful person who will understand and respect his need to be an only dog. Whilst he can't be around any other animals, he's extremely loving with people and will be very loyal and protective.
Please contact me directly if you are able to help with an ongoing monthly or one-off donation or if you are able to offer your heart and your home, thank you so much, Amanda Lighthouse.
