This time we’re shining the spotlight on Kayley, our amazing Clinic Coordinator. While she may not be hands-on with the pets, Kayley works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything at CAC running smoothly.

Fun fact: Kayley has a very special cat named Nelson, whom she rescued during one of our Spay Days six years ago.

According to Kayley, "What makes us special? At Country Animal Clinic, we’re proud to offer a dedicated cat waiting room, consulting room, and hospital—separate from those for dogs. This thoughtful setup helps reduce stress and makes vet visits easier for our feline friends."

Meet Laurika, The Friendly Face at Our Front Desk!

If you’ve visited Country Animal Clinic, chances are you’ve been greeted by Laurika’s warm smile and welcoming nature. As our receptionist, she goes the extra mile to make every client and pet feel special.

When she’s not keeping our clinic running smoothly, Laurika enjoys arts and crafts, photography, road trips, cooking and even pet sitting. She’s also studying BCom Business Management, proving she’s as dedicated to her personal growth as she is to our clients.

Meet Jeanette, our Passionate Veterinary Nurse!

If you’ve visited Country Animal Clinic, there’s a good chance Jeanette has been one of the calm, caring hands behind your pet’s care. As a Veterinary Nurse, she brings a love for variety, a hands-on approach, and a deep commitment to making each patient’s visit as stress-free as possible.

From taking x-rays (which she secretly finds very satisfying!) to comforting patients through procedures, Jeanette’s days are full of compassion, action, and a lot of love. She treats every animal, big or small, as if they were her own.

Fun fact: Jeanette handmakes pet beds as a side-hustle! Look out for her creations in-store, your fur baby might just fall in love with one.

Friendly Reminder: We’re closed this Saturday for National Women’s Day!

Our Country Animal Clinic team will be taking a short break on Saturday, 9 August in honour of National Women’s Day, but don’t worry, we’re still on standby for emergencies throughout the weekend.

If your pet needs urgent care, we are on emergency vet duty this weekend in the Helderberg area.

We’ll be back to normal hours on Monday! 💜
