Troy absolutely adores attention and will chat away with you asking for more cuddles and love. He's very engaging with people and is a gentle soul. Troy adores cuddles, water and ball games 😊 He's all legs and can be a bit goofy but he's also super smart!
Troy loves meeting dogs on walks and playing with them. This handsome boy is in excellent health: he's had x-rays and his hips are perfect. Troy is a very special dog who will make the most amazing friend and companion ❤ (+/-19 months old) No cats.

Tiger is a gorgeous big boy who loves going on adventures with his volunteer. He's also a bouncy, strong pooch so no couch potatoes for him although he's definitely always up for a cuddle! This cutie enjoys meeting other dogs on walkies but is not cat friendly.
Tiger is about 3 years old and is a loveable pooch who so deserves to be in a home. (He is not suited to a home with children under 18.)

Reposting for our special boy Duke who was stabbed and burned with hot water but still loves people. He's a loveable, happy boy who will make a loyal companion. Because Duke is a bouncy, strong dog, he's not suited for a home with very young children. Walkies and enjoying a spot in the sun are on his daily to-do list. ZieZie is as smart as a whip and as fast as a whippet. 🩷This confident little cutie is going to be a small breed with lots of personality and enthusiasm for life. She's a tiny ball of energy and adores racing around with other dogs but outruns all of them. 😄 ZieZie loves doing the zoomies, fetching her ball and cuddling. Found running in traffic on the N7, she's a real survivor and so deserves a loving home where she can feel safe. +/-5 months old.

We all need a bit of sweetness in our lives and you can't get sweeter than Sweetie. 🩷Her ridge on her back is quite unique and she has the softest eyes. This beautiful girl is also gentle and incredibly calm. Sweetie is settling into her life at the shelter prior to having roamed in Imizamo Yethu. Her chilled loving nature is incredibly special and she is going to make an amazing companion. (Sweetie is about 1 year old.)

We aren't going to give up hope for our three-legged Spotty who has spent so many years in the shelter. 😢 We don't understand why this senior boy is still waiting. Spotty is such a well-behaved, easy pooch who loves his strolls. He's also very well behaved in the car and when meeting other dogs. Please share so he can experience a home. Spotty is about 9 years old and is not suitable to a home with cats or very young children. If you can foster Spotty, DARG covers all vet and food bills.

Remember Oscar who was uplifted from another facility. He climbed onto our shelves in the office terrified when he first arrived and then wouldn't come out of his kennel.
Oscar has landed his little bum in the butter with an incredible mum and dad. Oscar now run off leash on the beach and has toys and balls galore in his home. He loves his couch and has settled in so beautifully. Thank you to everyone for sharing his post. 🩷

Drake has come so far since being brought to DARG. He spent his life on a chain but with training and TLC he has blossomed into an engaging, loving and sweet boy. Drake is smart and incredibly treat focused which means he learns new cues very quickly. He really deserves to experience a loving home and will make an incredibly loyal and loving dog.
