DISENGAGEMENT BOUNDARY GAME
Disengagement Boundary Game can be played with any dog - with any level of experience. They don't have to be experienced with Boundary Games. They don't need a "Go to your Bed" cue, a "Come when called" cue, or a "Free / Break" release cue.
Even if they know these cues, with Disengagement Boundary Game you are NOT going to cue any behaviour (ie, tell your dog what to do).
This is a game of CHOICE! You want your dog to CHOOSE to stay on her boundary. That's the place of value. No matter the distractions happening around her.
The only skill important here, is the skill of DISENGAGEMENT...
Not my monkeys, not my circus...
OR, in this case, not my chickens, not my farm... ๐๐
- as we were pleasantly surprised by the chickens choosing to participate in todayโs training session ๐คฃ
