”A groomers oath”

When your pet is young and wiggly, I promise to make every grooming experience a positive one. From their first intro to grooming until they are so old they can't stand up anymore, I will be there for them.

From terrified rescue dogs who flinch at everything to the unsocialized dingos with no manners, I will be there for them. I will gain their trust, reform their behavior, and educate their owners.

I will Always put the comfort of your pet first...even if this means grooming them on the floor because they can't stand up anymore...even if this means arguing with the owner of a matted pet about shaving it for it's own well being & benefit...even if this means having to send a pet home and taking a pay cut because it was unsafe for us to continue. Your pet will ALWAYS be put 1st.

I will do my very best to remain as educated in my field as possible. I will know what to do with your pet in the case of an Emergency, and I will always refer you to a veterinarian whenever care beyond my means is necessary.

I will be there for you when the delicate time comes to say goodbye. And I will cry with you, because I love your pet as one of my own. This is the pet groomers promise.

🤕 JETT HAS BEEN FOUND 🤕

It is official and confirmed: Lamnik Utah (Jett) has crossed the rainbow bridge. This evening the team were notified that his body had washed up at a sewerage treatment facility.

One of our volunteers went out and confirmed that the body is indeed Jett.

His body has been recovered and will be cremated.

We would like to thank everyone for your messages and support over this difficult time. Ok honor of Jett, we will still be working but doing limited searches as some handlers are still recovering physically and the team needs time to grieve.

Meet our littlest girl … ROSIE.
ROSIE was surrendered into our care as her human was getting too old and the family were not able to take her in.
We are happy that we have the opportunity to find ROSIE a home where she can live out her golden years too.

ROSIE is absolutely heartbroken and totally confused, it really tears us apart to see her in the kennels.
This poor little girl does not understand why she finds herself in a shelter and not with her human that she knew and adored for 7 years.

We gave ROSIE a few days to start settling in, but ROSIE has not come out of her shell yet, but who can blame her…
We are sure that she will soon show her true radiant colours and that when the perfect human comes to rescue her, she will blossom!

Please come and meet this teeny, tiny, yorkie girl… we know her forever human is out there somewhere. Please hurry though, ROSIE is really struggling and YOU could help mend her broken heart!
