Indarra burnt in an oven update

CAT BURNED IN AN OVEN - UPDATE

We have named her Indarra. ❤️
Despite the trauma and pain she has been through, she is eating well, drinking water and giving lots of purrs and enjoys being chin tickled. ❤️ what a loving little girl this soul is.

She is at the vet once a day for bandage changes and wound cleaning and on medication to help with infection and pain management. As it stands, her ears will need to be amputated due to the severity of the burns and her paws are bandaged - hopefully she won't need any amputated toes. Her head and back is something we need to monitor until the vet thinks she is ready for any further scab removal.

We have passed the necessary info along to SPCA to hopefully build a case of animal cruelty. This is a process and is in progress

👉Nog ‘n oplossing vir Daai verfoeilike vlieë 🪰🪰🪰🪰 wat so plak op die kinders se kosbakke en waterbakke waarvan hier BAIE is. Vlieë en bakke, beide. Ek spuit InsectPro S A op my hand, bedek die rand van die bakke met die oplossing… en siedaar! Vlieg se moses. Weg!

Ook waar kosbakkies en waterbakke gehou word, spuit ek elke dag na was op die oppervlak en of muur naby, geen vrees dat hulle giftige chemicals gaan inkry sou kossies op die oppervlak beland nie.

Wat gebeur as ek nie my spuitbottel InsectPro kan vind nie…. “Oh no! oh no! Waar is my InsectPro! Kenneth!! Het jy my spuitbottel van die InsectPro gesien!!” Nee regtig, kan nie sonder dit.

🐾🐈🐾I would like to use this opportunity today to introduce you to Charmoné Zeelie, the kindest little lady who volunteered to help with marketing, designs and photos. One day at a time of course because she also has to run her own business.

💜Supporting The Cat House also means supporting her in a way because I wouldn’t want her to feel that her designs, time and effort, doing all this for free, is making no impression on anyone. 😔That would be so disappointing and discouraging. Let’s not allow that because finding a volunteer to do anything out here is hard enough. 🙏

❤️❤️Baie dankie, thank you to the kind lady from Klerksdorp who sponsored this food for the dogs and cats from another address here in Dominionville where I had to remove three cats from. At least the remaining ones will be able to share this food for a while mixed with porridge for the dogs 🐕 🌲 thank you for you very kind and sweet heart.
