!! OUR BEAUTIFIL WATERMARK JOHARI IS ALSO IN FOAL TO FLORIDA TN !!
We are super happy to announce that our Reserve Champion Prospect Dressage filly WATERMARK JOHARI, who won the 2 year old Loose Movement Class (and was also Reserve Grand Champion) with the overall score of 82% (9 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8.5 for type and 9 for overall impression) is also in foal to the stunning Reserve Champion Oldenburg stallion FLORIDA TN.
This is foal No. 4 on the way for Watermark Warmbloods for 2025.

This has surely got to be a great combination. With both mare and stallion boasting both exceptional movement and temperaments, we think this is going to be one to really look forward to…

Another expected foal for WATERMARK WARMBLOODS in 2025:

CALLAHO BIJOU / BENICIO / DE NIRO x JOHNSON
We are EVEN MORE excited to announce that our Callaho Bijou is in foal to none other than the World’s No. 1 dressage sire JOHNSON. It surely DOES NOT GET BETTER THAN THIS …. ?

Her expected foal will have exactly the same bloodlines as our very special WATERMARK JAZAIRE, born in Oct 2023. We hope that Bijou will be able to add the same flash to her foal as what her full sister, Callaho Bonita did, to add to the highly sought after blood of Johnson, who’s world famous sire Jazz, has never before in history been surpassed as the World’s No. 1 sire of sires of all time. In total, Jazz was ranked in the top two positions for an impressive 10 years.
• World No. 1: 5 times (2008 to 2012)
• World No. 2: 5 times (2007, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016)
This solidified Jazz as one of the most dominant and influential stallions in modern dressage history, both in terms of competition results and his impact as a sire.
Johnson needs no introduction to those who know him, but here is some eye candy for those of us that suffer from our unfailing obsession …

!! WATERMARK FOALS EXPECTED FOR 2025 !!
We are hugely excited to announce that our filly Watermark Fahra is in foal to Team Nijhof’s FLORIDA. Today is day 41 post insemination. We think that our choice of stallion is an excellent match for her:

FLORIDA TN:
This stunning young stallion was Reserve Champion of the Oldenburg stallion approval with a score 8.5 for overall impression. His most is impressive bloodlines includes the stallions Blue Hors Zack (No. 2 on WBSHF) who is one of the most influential dressage stallions of the moment, Jazz (No. 3 on WBSHF), Rubenstein, Sir Donnerhall (No. 10 on WBSHF) and he also has Donnerhall on both the top and bottom lines, to mention but a few. Florida TN has impressive strength and striking use of the front and hind leg. His sire, For Dance scored 9 for canter, 8 for trot and 10 for character and temperament at his 14-day-test in Schlieckau.

Not only are bloodlines and striking movement with uphill conformation, and most of all a powerful hind leg a big consideration for us when choosing a stallion, we believe that temperament is THE most important aspect of all. Florida scored a 10 for temperament and an 8.5 for overall impression. EXCITING year ahead for us at Watermark Warmbloods ….

WHAT A DEBUT … !!

We at Watermark Stud are incredibly proud to announce our outstanding results from the South African Warmblood Horse Societyiety Loose Movement competition held last weekend at Kumusha Stables.

We entered 3 of our youngsters (our entry Watermark Lizario, was unfortunately scratched due to an injury). Chanel Jacobs the owner of our Watermark Just Jubelnd, also entered the competition, making the number of Watermark dressage prospects 4 entered into the competition.

WATERMARK JUST JUBLEND was Grand Champion with our WATERMARK JOHARI (his full sister), winning Reserve Champion. Congratulations to Chanel. Plus 2 x 1st’s and 2 x 2nd’s we couldn’t not have had a better result.

WATERMARK JUST JUBLEND (Out of Watermark Bonfire and by Nicolle Vd Greft’s Justus De Jeu), won the 3 year old Loose Movement Class (and Grand Champion) with 79%.
