Many thanks to customers and traders alike for braving the wind and making our Umhlanga Farmers Market Weekend Edition memorable. There was indeed a vibe, an energy and a sense of community. Traders assisted traders to help mitigate wind issues. Customers supported us in strong winds and many complimented the variety of stands. We truly feel like something memorable has started and welcome along for this journey with us.

❣❣ MEET YOUR TRADER ❣❣ A passionate foodie, Caryn found she needed to challenge herself, she had an idea and from that idea t.spn was born. Caryn took her love for food, design and concepts and created a confectionery gift range that is curiously creative, home made and hand crafted. All their products are made with the finest ingredients. Every product tests culinary limits. t.spn will not be at launch as she had prior engagements but we are happy to welcome her going forward. Cannot wait to have a taste.

❣❣ MEET YOUR TRADER ❣❣ Some of our traders have been through true journeys to get where they are. Willie our Chilli sauce man is no exception. An unexpected medical emergency and a subsequent move half way across the country meant he had to leave his former career behind. From that he put 2 years R&D into coming up with a spicy range of chilli sauce to meet all tastes. Many people from Umhlanga will recognize him from his days trading and Cornubia and he has an established customer base. We are happy to welcome him to the Umhlanga Farmers Market

This is a dynamic mother and daughter duo.

Anne is a woman I truly look up to, she has overcome many challenges and has still made a thriving little business to help her support her family. Anne prepares premade dinners for those with a busy lifestyle so they can just pop them in the oven and enjoy. These are recipes taken from different cultures which are complex or time consuming to prepare. She puts all the attention into these meals for our enjoyment. Her daughter Emma is the person on the ground providing the customer service and helping customers decide what best suits their palette.
