We have just 3 x CD size calendars left for sale at our Queensburgh vet (313 Stella Road, Hillary).

They are R70 each!

We have to sell these by the end of January, otherwise we have to return them to the supplier!

To purchase : pop in to Queensburgh vet Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm or Saturdays from 10am to 12 to purchase!

We had a bit of excitement yesterday at Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital.

We'd like to extend a big thank you to Lee who alerted us about Stompie at the hospital. She had recently had 4 babies and unfortunately two had disappeared into car engines. One was found by a staff member and she has decided to keep the baby.

We arranged for Stompie ( who has a short little tail) to be sterilized and wanted to make sure her remaining babies were also taken care of.

We trapped Stompie and heard a little meow close by. We had several staff members suppliers and guests at the hospital open their car bonnets. And then Nikki realized there was a baby in HER engine.
She snapped the little one up and quickly got her into a carrier.

Stompie is at Snip Vet getting her ear clipped and sterilization and Rabies shots today. A big thank you to Caron Harris from FATS- Forwarding African Transport Services , the sponsor who is paying for the steri💓

A special mention must be made to the staff, specifically Sr Isabel and Susan who have been feeding Stompie and helped with the rescue.

We love it when companies are responsible and sterilize their resident cats ❤️ if you see Stompie at Busamed give her a wink or chat to her.🐱🐈🐈‍⬛

We will be keeping an eye out for the remaining baby and hope it will be rescued soon.

🎊❤️BUCKETS OF HOPE - COMPASS CARES 🎊❤️

On January 4th, two of our team members, Clare and Tatum, each received a "Bucket of Hope" from Compass Cares, a division of Compass Medical Waste Services. The goal of these buckets was to encourage our team members to pay it forward by giving them to someone in need. These buckets are filled with much needed non-perishable items that help families in need.

Clare chose to donate her bucket to her gardener, who lives in a township in the Pinetown/Marrianhill area. She felt he truly deserved it for his hard work in supporting his family, especially during these tough times.

A big thank you to Compass for giving us the chance to spread joy and make a positive impact this new year! These buckets are made possible through the sales of the Cat and Crow calendars each year, and we are grateful for the generosity that helps us bring smiles to others' faces. 🎊

This year Compass celebrated the 10th anniversary of these buckets, which originally started as a partnership with Grace family church, it has grown to assist many families in need.

Please continue to support the calendar campaign each year, as you're not only making a difference in animals lives in various rescue organisations, but also in the lives of those who are less fortunate. ❤️

Do you have a spot in your heart and home for these little guys?

Charlie is an affectionate, confident and adventurous boy. He would make a great addition to a home with other animals. He loves playing in grass and chasing little insects. He would love to be adopted with his friend Zero but would do great with any other cats and dogs.
