Stumbled across this Chagoi in our Soragoi/Chagoi fry pond.
Noticed fry numbers decreasing and drained some water out of the fry pond.

We had three successful spawns today.
Our two Showa females from Isa and Momotaro(both 80 cm) ,respectively, have spawned.
Our 86 cm Ochiba Shigure was also active in her own spawn group and has produced thousands of eggs.

The hard work of protecting,nurturing and selecting the fry to grow on,now lies ahead.

This group of Kohaku spawned last Thursday. We expect to see the fry from today onwards.
Female is big and produced many good sized eggs.
The two males should have ensured a nice fertilization percentage.
