The Animal Welfare Society Helderberg is a registered Non Profit Organisation. There are 28 paid staff members and a small team of volunteers who help with the day to day running of
the kennels. There is also a charity shop located off-site. The kennel hosts a facility for

strays and surrenders. The facility
also includes a veterinary division and is situated in Gordon’s Bay. The AWS Helderberg has a mobile clinic which hosts primary care and operates in Macassar, Eerste river, Tarentaal Plaas, Nomzamo and Sir
Lowry’s Pass, plus various locations in between and at reasonable request. A small inspectorate investigates complaints and assists in collecting sick animals for treatment and then returning them home. Sterilization is high on the agenda of the AWS Helderberg. AWS Helderberg is a proud member of the Cape Animal Welfare Forum.

Nelly is a beautiful 1 year old French Bulldog that is looking for a new home. She is sterilized, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She is house trained and leash trained. She must go to someone who knows the breed. She needs some human company during the day as she is very human orientated and absolutely adores people. She loves children and will make a wonderful family pet. She is a small girl with a very playful nature and such a loving temperament. A very strict home check will apply. Storm is a very handsome 1 year old boy that has been surrendered to our kennels. He gets on well with other dogs and at the kennels, he is socialized with males and females. However, a meet and greet with his new family will be necessary. He has never lived with cats and doesn't know them. He is a friendly, happy, playful and active dog with a beautiful temperament. He needs a spacious garden, a warm bed inside the house at night, daily exercise and a special place in the family. He will make an incredibly devoted pet and such a faithful companion.
